Abstract: Compositions and methods for introducing a nasal rinse into one or more nasal passages to treat one or more potential ailments are disclosed. The compositions include N-acetylcysteine, a salt, and an alkaline buffering agent. The methods include introducing the composition into an aqueous fluid to form a nasal rinse treatment fluid and introducing the nasal rinse treatment fluid into one or more nasal passages to treat one or more potential ailments.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for loading, transporting and dumping a plurality of containers on a vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes a frame pivotally attachable a vehicle bed, an upper container engaging means and a lower container engaging means, both coupled to the frame. The upper container engaging means is moveable between a first height and a second height, the first height and the second height differing by greater than at least the height of a container. The lower container engaging means may be stowed and deployed. The upper container engaging means is moveable to the first height for loading a first container when the lower container engaging means is stowed. The lower container engaging means is deployed at the first height for loading the second container when the upper container engaging means is at the second height. The first container and second container may thereby be sequentially loaded and simultaneously transported on the vehicle.

Abstract: Blends of chlorosulphonated polyethylene and defined bituminous material are modified by the addition of not more than 15% by weight, based on total weight of chlorine-containing synthetic elastomer, of a thermoplastic olefin polymer having a softening point in the range 110.degree.-160.degree. C. The incorporation of this polymer reduces shrinkage when sheets formed from the blend are exposed to heat while in use.

Abstract: Surfaces of a blend of (1) unvulcanized chlorosulphonated polyethylene and/or chlorinated polyethylene, (2) a bituminous petroleum derivative of softening point in excess of 100.degree. C. and an asphaltene content in excess of 25% by weight and (3) a noninterfering anti-blocking agent are joined by radio frequency dielectric welding.

Abstract: The residual vinyl halide content of vinyl halide polymer is reduced by radiofrequency dielectric heating of a water-containing layer of particulate polymer over which is disposed a layer of material through which vinyl chloride can pass but which restricts the passage of water e.g. perforated plastic sheet.
