  • Publication number: 20110174360
Abstract: A rack assembly is provided for mounting solar modules over an underlying body. The rack assembly may include a plurality of rail structures that are arrangeable over the underlying body to form an overall perimeter for the rack assembly. One or more retention structures may be provided with the plurality of rail structures, where each retention structure is configured to support one or more solar modules at a given height above the underlying body. At least some of the plurality of rail structures are adapted to enable individual rail structures to be sealed over the underlying body so as to constrain air flow underneath the solar modules. Additionally, at least one of (i) one or more of the rail structures, or (ii) the one or more retention structures are adjustable so as to adapt the rack assembly to accommodate solar modules of varying forms or dimensions.

  • Publication number: 20100059366
Abstract: A method of fabricating a process chamber component having a textured surface with raised features. The method comprises providing a process chamber component having a surface, and forming a patterned resist layer on the process chamber component, the patterned resist layer having apertures that expose portions of the surface of the process chamber component therethrough. A textured surface having raised features is formed on the process chamber component by propelling grit particles with a gas that is pressurized to a pressure sufficiently high to cause the grit particles to erode and remove material from the surface.

  • Patent number: 7618769
Abstract: A method of fabricating a process chamber component having a textured surface includes applying a resist layer on an underlying surface of the component. A predetermined pattern of apertures is formed in the resist layer that exposes the underlying surface of the component. The underlying surface is etched through the apertures in the resist layer to form a textured surface having raised features with top corners. The resist layer is removed, and a treatment step is performed to form top corners that are rounded. In another method, the textured surface is formed by providing a patterned mask having apertures above the surface of the component. A material is sprayed through the apertures in the patterned mask and onto the surface to form a textured surface with raised features having the material.

  • Patent number: 7566062
Abstract: A highback for controlling a gliding board, such as a snowboard, through leg movement of a rider. The highback is comprised of at least two distinct materials with different stiffnesses to achieve a desired blend of stiffness and flexibility. The highback may employ a material of greater stiffness in one or more regions to provide high force transmission between the rider and the board. The highback may employ a material of lesser stiffness in one or more regions where flexibility is desired for more gradual power transmission, comfort and/or to facilitate highback adjustability. The arrangement of the different materials provides a lightweight highback with a relatively sleek profile having selected regions of stiffness and/or flexibility.

  • Patent number: 7415622
Abstract: An adaptive digital power control system is disclosed, which implements a digitally controlled, near real-time algorithm to accommodate multiple loop current mode controls for low voltage, high performance computing system power needs. For example, an adaptive digital power control system that is implemented with an FPGA to generate low voltages for high performance computing systems is disclosed, which includes a current and voltage loop compensation algorithm that enables the adaptive digital power control system to dynamically compensate for high current transients and EMI-related noise. The current and voltage loop compensation algorithm uses a combination of linear predictive coding and Kalman filtering techniques to provide dynamic current and voltage compensation, and implement a feed-forward technique using knowledge of the power system's output parameters to adequately adapt to the system's compensation needs.
