  • Patent number: 11984814
Abstract: For open loop phase pre-charge, an apparatus includes a Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS) charging diode and a charge generator. The SMPS charging diode pre-charges an SMPS to a regulation set point from at least one phase of an Alternating Current (AC) voltage. The charge generator is powered by the pre-charged SMPS. In response to detecting the regulation set point iteratively, the charge generator detects a specified phase angle of the AC voltage. In response to the specified phase angle, the charge generator iteratively generates a charging voltage during positive voltage interval that charges a Direct Current (DC) bus capacitor to a target DC bus voltage within a charging time interval. At least a portion of the charge generator comprises one or more of hardware and executable code, the executable code stored on one or more computer readable storage media.

  • Patent number: 11948300
Abstract: Machine learning systems and methods are disclosed for prediction of wound healing, such as for diabetic foot ulcers or other wounds, and for assessment implementations such as segmentation of images into wound regions and non-wound regions. Systems for assessing or predicting wound healing can include a light detection element configured to collect light of at least a first wavelength reflected from a tissue region including a wound, and one or more processors configured to generate an image based on a signal from the light detection element having pixels depicting the tissue region, determine reflectance intensity values for at least a subset of the pixels, determine one or more quantitative features of the subset of the plurality of pixels based on the reflectance intensity values, and generate a predicted or assessed healing parameter associated with the wound over a predetermined time interval.

  • Patent number: 11199381
Abstract: Clearing landmines is a dangerous activity and the danger is increased when trying to clear a landmine without triggering an explosion. An excavator for landmines is provided, which includes a first actuator that vertically moves a mounting plate. Two or more secondary actuators are mounted to the mounting plate, and each of the secondary actuators are able to extend and retract a tool. Each respective tool has drill bits or prongs for penetrating a ground surface. A neutralizer is also provided, and it includes: a robotic clamp to grip a landmine and to reposition the same; a cutting tool to cut an opening into the landmine; a steaming module to eject steam into the opening; and a catcher to collect melted explosive material that exits the landmine.
