  • Patent number: 11931281
Abstract: An adjustable brace for stabilizing a body part of a patient and a method of fabricating such a brace is provided. In some embodiments, the adjustable brace comprises a first 3D printed stabilizer having a first exterior surface, a first interior surface, and a first thickness; a second stabilizer comprising a second exterior surface, a second interior surface, and a second thickness; one or more attachment points; and one or more selective engagement structures, wherein the first 3D printed stabilizer selectively engages with the second 3D printed stabilizer at common peripheries of the first 3D printed stabilizer and second 3D printed stabilizer via the one or more selective engagement structures, respectively; and a position of the first 3D printed stabilizer is adjustable in relation to the second 3D printed stabilizer.

  • Publication number: 20240019845
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling synthesis of a material in particular a polymer is proposed, the apparatus comprising at least: an obtaining unit configured to receive a digital representa-tion of a candidate material, a model unit configured to provide a data driven model trained based on digital representations of previously presented materials and at least two of their respective characteristic properties, a pareto unit configured to provide a provisional pareto front associated with the at least two characteristic material properties for the subset of materials, a property determination unit configured to determine the at least two character-istic material properties of the candidate material based on the data driven model and the digital representation, a validation unit configured to compare the determined at least two characteristic material properties with the provisional pareto front, a providing unit config-ured to, based on the Ccomparison providing a control file, suitable for controlling the syn-the

  • Patent number: 11399821
Abstract: A control handle for use with a suture device operable through an endoscope includes a grip attachment configured to be secured to an endoscope and a control housing operably secured to the grip attachment. A catheter housing is moveably disposed within the control housing and adapted to releasably secure the suture catheter such that translation of the catheter housing causes translation of the suture catheter. A lever is rotatably securable relative to the catheter housing such that rotation of the lever relative to the catheter housing causes the catheter housing to move relative to the control housing. A sliding tab is disposed relative to the lever such that movement of the sliding tab relative to the lever causes the suture catheter to translate relative to the control wire disposed within the suture catheter.

  • Publication number: 20220218096
Abstract: A grill brush includes a brush head with brush-head upper and lower surfaces, the brush-head lower surface having a plurality of bristles protruding therefrom. An elongated handle extends between handle proximate and distal ends. The handle distal end is defined in part by a brush-head mount including a mounting surface configured to retain the brush-head upper surface. A grill-cleaning implement plate is situated at least partially between the brush-head upper surface and the brush-head mount and extends longitudinally between plate back and front ends. At least one of the plate back and front ends has depending therefrom a grate-cleaning implement. The implement plate is rotatably retained between the brush-head upper surface and the brush-head mount such that, with the brush head stationary relative to the brush handle, the implement plate can be rotated with respect to the brush handle and brush head between mutually opposed first and second angular orientations.

  • Publication number: 20210196123
Abstract: In one example, the present disclosure describes a device, computer-readable medium, and method for detecting potential health risks using nanorobotics. For instance, in one example, a device includes a detector, a sensor, and a transceiver. The detector triggers a chemical reaction upon contact with a target substance in a user's body. The sensor detects when the chemical reaction occurs. The transceiver transmits an electronic signal containing a record of the chemical reaction to a user endpoint device.

  • Patent number: 10945603
Abstract: In one example, a device includes a detector. a sensor, a transceiver, and a reservoir. The detector triggers a chemical reaction upon contact with a target substance in a user's body. The sensor detects when the chemical reaction occurs. The transceiver transmits a first electronic signal containing a record of the chemical reaction to a user endpoint device for use in detecting potential health risks and receives a second electronic signal containing an instruction to dispense, from the reservoir, a medication for treating a condition indicated by a presence of the target substance in the user's body from the user endpoint device.
