Abstract: 1,2,4-TRIAZINE-1,4-DI-N-oxides (1,4) useful as microbicides having the formula (I): ##SPC1##whereinX.sup.1 and X.sup.2 which may be the same or different are hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy, halogen alkyl or halogen; andA is selected from the group ofI. R which is unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl, substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl;Ii. --COR.sup.1 in which R.sup.1 is hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl;Iii. --COCH.sub.2 COCH.sub.3 ; andIv. --CONHR.sup.2 where R.sup.2 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl or substituted unsubstituted aryl.Processes for making formula (I) compounds are also disclosed.

Abstract: In a storable plastic organopolysiloxane composition which can be converted into a rubbery-elastic mass under the action of water and prepared by mixing an .alpha.,.omega.-dihydroxypolydiorganosiloxane with a silicon-containing crosslinking agent, the improvement which comprises incorporating in said mixture about 1 to 20% by weight of at least one material selected from the group consisting of dioxane, acrylonitrile, acetonitrile, trichloroethylene, butanesultone, butyl acetate and carbon tetrachloride. There may be included up to about 70% by weight of .alpha.,.omega.-bis-(triorganosiloxy)-polydiorganosiloxane, up to about 5% by weight of at least one heavy metal salt or amine as a crosslinking accelerant, and about 10 to 70% by weight of at least one inert filler.

Abstract: N-(trihalomethylthio)-carbamic acid oxime ester of the formula ##EQU1## IN WHICH R is alkyl; cycloalkyl; or aryl optionally carrying at least one halogen, nitro, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, trifluoromethyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy radical;R' and R" each independently is alkyl or alkenyl optionally substituted by an alkoxycarbonyl or amidocarbonyl radical; cycloalkyl; aryl optionally carrying at least one halogen, nitrile, nitro, trifluoromethyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy radical; nitrile; halogen; alkoxycarbonyl; or amidocarbonyl; orR' and R", conjointly with the carbon atom that links them, form a cycloalkylidene group with 5 or 6 carbon atoms optionally carrying at least one C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkylene or cycloalkyl radical; andn is 0, 1, 2 or 3,Which possess fungicidal and microbicidal properties.

Abstract: .beta.-PHENYL-.beta.-AZOLYL-NITROETHANES OF THE FORMULA ##SPC1##In whichR.sup.1, r.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each individually is hydrogen, lower alkyl optionally substituted by fluorine or chlorine, halogen, nitrile, thiocyano, nitro or alkoxycarbonyl with up to 6 carbon atoms in the alkoxy radical, andR.sup.4 is a 5-membered heterocyclic structure with 1 to 4 nitrogen atoms which is bonded via nitrogen and which is optionally substituted by halogen, lower alkyl or alkenyl, --(CH.sub.2).sub.4 -- or --CH=CH--CH=CH--,which possess fungicidal and bactericidal properties.
