Abstract: A new group of polymer flow controllers for powder resin lacquer is provided. The polymer flow controllers contain groups ##STR1## wherein n and m are numbers from 0 to 1000 with the sum of n+m=2-1000 and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently hydrogen, an optionally hydroxy substituted hydrocarbon group containing 1 to 36 carbon atoms aryl and aralkyl optionally substituted in the aromatic nucleus, or R.sub.3 --(--O--C.sub.2 H.sub.4 --)--.sub.p O--CH.sub.2 -- wherein R.sub.3 is an alkyl or alkenyl group containing 1 to 18 carbon atoms and p is a number of 1 to 10.

Abstract: Poly-N-acylalkyleneimines corresponding to the following formula ##STR1## are used as an oxidatively crosslinking constituent in paints. In formula (I), R--CO represents the acyl radical of a mono- or polyunsaturated, aliphatic C.sub.16-22 carboxylic acid or a mixture of such radicals, R'--CO represents the acyl radical of a C.sub.1-22 carboxylic acid or a mixture of such radicals and x and y represent the percentages by weight of the particular polymer units, x assuming values of 20 to 100% and preferably 20 to 95% and y assuming values of 80 to 0% and preferably 80 to 5%. The indices m and n independently of one another may assume the value 2 or 3.

Abstract: This invention includes new water-dilutable binder mixtures based on alkyd resins modified by poly{ethylene glycol} and poly{N-acyl alkylene imines}, a process for preparing such binder mixtures, and the use of such binders in oxidatively drying paints and varnishes.

Abstract: In the process described, cyclic polyimino ethers with .DELTA..sup.2 -oxazoline or .DELTA..sup.2 -5,6-dihydro-4H-1,3-oxazine structure are applied, alone or together with cyclic monoimino ethers of the same type, or with lactones, plus cationic polymerization catalysts, to solid surfaces and polymerized by heating. The process gives smooth, glossy coatings with high adhesive strength, hardness, and elasticity.

Abstract: This invention concerns polyiminoethers of general formula (I) in which A is an aliphatic, aromatic or araliphatic group containing 4 to 40 carbon atoms and n free valencies at various carbon atoms, x may assume values of 0 to 40, n has a value of 2, 3 or 4, Z is either a direct bond or the group CR.sup.5 R.sup.6, the substituents R.sup.1 to R.sup.6 independently of one another are H, alkyl or aryl containing up 8 carbon atoms, the substituent R.sup.7 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl and Q is a phenylene group, which may be substituted by one or two methyl groups, or the group --CHR--M--, where R is selected from the group consisting of H, alkyl or alkenyl and M is selected from the group consisting of alkylene, alkenylene, arylene and alkarylene, and the parts R and M of the molecule independently of one another contain 0 to 12 carbon atoms and, in addition, may be substituted by a C.sub.1-3 alkoxy group. These compounds are made from polyisocyanates of formula A(NCO).sub.

Abstract: In this process, cyclic polyimino ethers with a .DELTA..sup.2 -oxazoline or .DELTA..sup.2 -5,6-dihydro-4H-1,3-oxazine structure are polymerized by heating them alone or together with cyclic monoimino ethers of the same type, or with lactones, plus cationic polymerization catalysts. The new polymers are suitable for use as raw materials, foil materials, molding materials and hot-setting adhesives.

Abstract: Liquid preparations for cleaning hard surfaces based on anionic surfactants either individually or in combination with nonionic surfactants or amphoteric surfactants, or nonionic surfactants either individually or in combination with cationic surfactants, solubilizers and, optionally, builders, dyes, perfumes and preservatives, containing an addition of polymers, namely cellulose ethers.

Abstract: N-substituted polyglycidyl urazole compounds of the general formula ##STR1## in which the radicals R represent a glycidyl radical corresponding to the following general formula ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 represents hydrogen or an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or two of the radicals R represent a glycidyl radical of general formula II while the remaining radical R is a radical Z, other than said glycidyl radical, containing carbon, hydrogen and, optionally, heteroatoms, are useful in the treatment of various forms of leukemia.

Abstract: New cytostatic compounds based on isocyanuric acid derivatives having 2 or 3 epoxide group containing substituents on ring nitrogen atoms, of which at least one differs from a glycidyl, having the formula ##STR1## wherein Oxiranyl is the same or different and has the formula ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are the same or different and members selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, hydroxyalkyl and alkoxyalkyl and n in an integer from 1 to 8, with the proviso that if n is 1 in all oxiranyl groups, at least one of R.sub.1 or R.sub.3 is other than hydrogen, and R is a member selected from the group consisting of oxiranyl as defined above, hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, hydrocarbon aryl, hydrocarbon aralkyl, hydrocarbon alkaryl, cycloalkyl, and cycloalkenyl, optionally containing substituents.When R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and/or R.sub.3 denote alkyl or substituted alkyl in the oxiranyl radical, the alkyl radicals preferably have from 1 to 4 carbon atoms.

The emulsions are substantially odorless and are cosmetically acceptable for the care of the skin.
