Abstract: The invention relates to the training and monitoring of a correct application of compression material. A training extremity (1) made of hard material is provided with multiple pressure measuring sensors (S1-S16), the sensor surface (10) of which substantially lies on the surface level (11) of the training extremity (1). A layer which is made of flexible cushioning material (12) and over which the compression material (14) is to be applied is applied over the training extremity (1) and over each sensor surface (10). A display device (4) displays the pressure values measured by the pressure measuring sensors (S1-S16) in real time.
