    Abstract: The disclosure discloses methods and systems for assisting users via interactive voice-based job-related instructions. The method includes receiving a job having one or more attributes. A call from a mobile device of the user is received and a connection is established between the mobile device and a multi-function device. It is then checked whether the mobile device is a registered mobile device. Based on the check, an interactive voice response unit is automatically activated over the established the call. Then, one or more voice-based instructions are sent to change at least one attribute related to the job. Based on the voice-based instructions, an input key submitted through the mobile device is received to change the at least one attribute. The at least one attribute is changed at the multi-function device in real-time. Finally, the job is printed in accordance with the at least one changed attribute and remaining attributes.
