  • Publication number: 20160238124
Abstract: A transmission case for a machine having a power source and a drive train assembly adapted to receive power from the power source is provided. The transmission case includes an encasing member, a plurality of side rails and a unitary rear wall which are coupled to one another to define an enclosure therebetween. The unitary rear wall includes a rear plate. The rear plate includes plurality of threaded holes provided at the peripheral end portions of the rear plate. The rear plate also includes a through hole. The unitary rear wall also includes a machined portion defined along the through hole. The unitary rear wall further includes a lubricant drain provision. The lubricant drain provision is provided at the bottom portion of the rear plate. The unitary rear wall includes a plurality of mounts, which are provided on a top portion of the rear plate.

  • Publication number: 20160201292
Abstract: A mounting member for a frame assembly of a machine is provided. The mounting member includes a first lobe portion having an opening. The first lobe portion includes a first shoulder portion and a plurality of first mounting holes adapted to mount a drive hub. The mounting member includes a second lobe portion having a cavity. The second lobe portion includes a second shoulder portion and a plurality of second mounting holes adapted to mount a pivot shaft. The mounting member also includes a neck portion connecting the first lobe portion and the second lobe portion. The mounting member includes a reinforcement portion extending from the first lobe portion to the second lobe portion along the neck portion. The reinforcement portion at least partially surrounds the second lobe portion. The reinforcement portion, the first lobe portion, and the second lobe portion are coupled to the frame assembly of the machine.

  • Patent number: 8833871
Abstract: A ground engaging track for a track-type machine includes a set of identical standard track shoes each having a relatively narrow shoe footprint, and a sweeping track shoe having a relatively wide shoe footprint. The sweeping track shoe is connectable via track links with the standard track shoes in an endless chain configuration such that the sweeping track shoe juts outwardly of the standard track shoes, for sweeping debris from a clearance between the track and a main frame of the track-type machine. The sweeping track shoe includes bolting apertures formed therein and communicating between an upper shoe surface and a ground contacting shoe surface, the bolting apertures being arranged in a directional link bolting pattern. The directional link bolting pattern defines a minor shoe axis and a major shoe axis, and the sweeping shoe body may be configured such that an inboard sweeping edge is spaced further than an outboard edge from the minor shoe axis.
