  • Patent number: 8714184
Abstract: An improved ball type valve rotator is provided that includes a ball cage that may include an inner flange and outer walls that are connected to opposing inner and outer portions of a middle flange from which multiple ramps extend. The inner flange and outer walls may define respective boundaries of pockets that hold bearing balls and springs so that the bearing balls and springs are transversely confined between components that may be formed from a single piece of material.

  • Patent number: 7997243
Abstract: An improved ball type valve rotator is provided that includes a main body segment having a bottom wall with an upper surface, and a body cap that overlies the main body segment. A ball cages assembly is housed between the main body segment and the body cap. The ball cages assembly includes multiple ramps with lower surfaces that are spaced from the bottom wall upper surface of the main body segment. This allows the multiple ramps to deflect toward the bottom wall upper surface of the main body segment. The multiple ramps can deflect independently of each other, so that different distances can be defined between the different ramps and the bottom wall upper surface of the main body segment. In so doing, the ball cage assembly can accommodate non-uniform applications of force into the valve rotator.

  • Patent number: 5327861
Abstract: An automatic oil additive injector is disposed over the drain opening in a bottom wall of an engine oil pan and extends into the oil pan. A side port is provided in a housing of the injector for allowing oil to drain therethrough when the oil drain plug is removed. Primary and secondary valve assemblies and a pump operator provided in the housing are activated upon removal of the drain plug to allow a chamber therebetween to fill with a predefined volume of additive, preferably silicone fluid, from a reservoir of the injector and which, upon engagement of the drain plug, dispense the fluid into the oil pan at each oil change to decrease aeration of the oil. In a second embodiment, the additive injector and reservoir are incorporated in the lubricating oil filter header.

  • Patent number: 4928912
Abstract: An anchor for stabilizing and securing a hanger in a pegboard is disclosed. The anchor is formed to provide an arcuate portion to accommodate the hanger and has legs and feet which are inserted through a perforation in the pegboard. Terminal ends of the feed abut against a rear face of the pegboard to prevent accidently dislodging the hanger from the pegboard.
