Abstract: Iron-type golf club heads have a shortened hosel and lengthened hosel bore. The iron-type golf club head allows for a range of loft and lie adjustability post-manufacture with maintained or reduced visible surface deformation and durability loss, and also creates discretionary mass that can be placed strategically for performance benefits. Additionally, a spacer is placed in the hosel bore to suspend a suspended weight and within the hosel bore.

Abstract: A wood-type golf club head has a volume between 330 and 400 cm3, a combined MOI greater than 7000 g*cm2, and shaping which balances ground and tee performance. The club head has a large body width and a large body depth that increase MOI, and a proportionally short body height that improves the quality of ground strikes. The club head also has a heavy weight member in a rearward and soleward position to improve MOI and create a CG position that balances both ball speed off the ground and ball speed off the tee. Some embodiments have a club head CG position which favors tee performance. In said embodiments, the club head can comprise a sole slit that improves ground performance and/or performance on low strikes.

Abstract: Embodiments of wood-type club heads comprising one or more components are described herein. The wood-type club head comprises a first, metallic component, and a second, non-metallic component. The first component comprises the load bearing structure that forms the striking face, and portions of the crown, the heel, the toe, and the sole. The second component comprises a lightweight structure that wraps around the first component to form portions of the crown, the heel, the toe, and the sole. The first component comprises mass pads and receives removable weights to adjust the weight properties of the club head. The two-component design allows for additional discretionary mass redistribution to improve center of gravity location and moment of inertia.

Abstract: An adjustable clamp allows different grips to be coupled to different club heads using a simple, releasable clamp mechanism. The adjustable clamp is oriented on a shaft, and has a reduced profile perpendicular to the shaft, to have minimal impact on a sightline along the shaft during use. Additionally, putter fitting kits using multiple putter clamps to connect different grips to different shafts, as well as different heads to the different shafts, create a wider range of combinations available during a putter fitting.
