  • Publication number: 20210120839
Abstract: The invention proposes a solution to the problem of develop a chocolate confection that has ingredients with clinical effects, the full chocolate flavor, and minimizes or eliminates glucose increase upon consumption of a small or modest amount of the confection. The proposed solution is to use a combination of unsweetened baking chocolate, glycerin, and Readisorb® liposomally formulated glutathione available from Your Energy Systems, LLC, Palo Alto, Calif. One solution is to mix unsweetened powdered baking chocolate into Readisorb® liposomally formulated glutathione which is formulated in glycerin. The addition of stevia and a bitter blocker is also contemplated.

  • Publication number: 20160184605
Abstract: This invention proposes a robotic applicator device to be deployed internally to a patient having a capsule (also referred to as a cassette) and aperture with a means of alternately occluding and exposing a radioactive source through the aperture. The capsule and aperture will be integrated with a surgical robot to create a robotic IORT (intra-operative radiation therapy) applicator device as more fully described below. The capsule, radiation source, and IORT applicator arm would be integrated to enable a physician, physicist or technician to interactively internally view and select tissue for exposure to ionizing radiation in sufficient quantities to deliver therapeutic radiation doses to tissue. Via the robotic manipulation device, the physician and physicist would remotely apply radiation to not only the tissue to be exposed, but also control the length of time of the exposure.

  • Patent number: 9089962
Abstract: The invention is a tool to be struck, or a striking tool, (collectively referred to as an “impact tool”), or alternatively, a cap, that will not suffer metal spall and the attendant dangers of spalling and flying or cutting metal slivers. The preferred mode is on a chisel (wood or cold) or repeated impact tool. The chisel would have a striking end cut square to the shaft. The striking end would be opposite the working end. Other tools such as impact wrenches, jackhammers, wedges, spikes, hammers, mallets or other tools being struck or striking forcibly benefit from the invention by use of a disk insert of polymeric material to alter ergonomic and noise characteristic.

  • Patent number: 9034184
Abstract: This is a scalable water cleansing system intended for very low technology primitive communities buildable for between $600 and $1,000 of parts. A gravity feed system is contemplated with one or more of an initial filtering stage(s), a settling stage, a UV treatment stage, and an ozonator stage. A stand-alone power system with solar power needing no infrastructure is contemplated to enhance purification. The system can improve the worst of water quality, including for small groups; and under some conditions to end up with clean water of a quality found in developed countries with mature water systems. For water to the site in communities with low precipitation, the water brought in would be emptied into the initial stage of the water cleansing system, and the person who brought the water would draw from the last stage most or all of the amount of water carried in.

  • Patent number: 8679530
Abstract: The invention proposes the sure of reduced glutathione in a liposome (liposomal reduced glutathione) for the oral administration of a therapeutically effective amount to ameliorate the progression of vascular disease, including atherosclerosis, diabetes, hypertension, narrowing of arteries leading to decreased blood flow, ischemic events, and the formation of blood clots, abnormal platelet aggregation, and thrombotic events, by reducing the amount and effect of oxidized cholesterol, oxidized HDL and oxidized LDL. The invention also proposes combining liposomal encapsulated glutathione with statin drugs to improve the effect of lowering not only cholesterol but also the oxidized cholesterol as well as oxidized HDL and oxidized LDL. The invention also proposes combining liposomal encapsulated glutathione with CoQ10 as a therapy for vascular disease and management of side effects of statin therapy.

  • Patent number: 8460119
Abstract: The combination of a truly realistic three dimensional real image in color and a second device to produce a repetitive passage of a solid object through the real image creates the illusion of one solid body passing through another. A simple method of accomplishing this is to mount a clock with a pendulum over or under the image and allow a pendulum end to pass periodically through the real image. Other means such as a device running on a circular track could accomplish the same illusory effect. The pendulum end or the device can take various forms as can the real image. In principle the designs are not limited in size. The invention creates an exciting visual and illusory moment of a second object passing through an apparently solid object.

  • Publication number: 20120141608
Abstract: The invention is for the combination and related methods of N-acetyl-cysteine oral, inhaled, or intravenous, or glutathione inhaled or intravenous, generally in combination with antibiotic and/or antiviral therapy to ameliorate the toxic effects of infection with materials used in Bioterror incidents such as Bacillus anthracis and smallpox virus, and alternatively, upon exposure to radiation, during testing, and vaccination, as treatment prior to treatment with antibiotic or antiviral therapy to ameliorate the toxic effects of infection and exposure with these organisms.

Abstract: The combination of a truly realistic three dimensional real image in color and a second device to produce a repetitive passage of a solid object through the real image creates the illusion of one solid body passing through another. A simple method of accomplishing this is to mount a clockworks with a pendulum over or under the image and allow a pendulum end to pass periodically through the real image. Other means such as a device running on a circular track could accomplish the same illusory effect. The pendulum end or the device can take various forms as can the real image. In principle the designs are not limited in size. Further, an amusement ride is contemplated by directing a track with a vehicle and a rider in the vehicle at the proper angle toward the real image creating an exciting visual moment passing through the apparently solid object.

A gravity feed system is contemplated with an initial filtering stage(s), a settling stage, a UV treatment stage, and an ozonator stage.
