Abstract: An impression tray for dental purposes has a shovel-like blade provided on its inside with layer forming attachments for a semi-liquid or plastic impression material which is put onto the tray when it is pressed against the lower or upper jaw for taking an impression. The layer is of uniformly distributed threads with closely-lying attachment points on the inside of the tray, the threads having a stiffness such that they can penetrate into the semi-liquid or plastic impression material when the tray with the material is pressed against the respective jaw for the purpose of the layer being incorporated as effective anchoring means in the bottom layer of the impression material when the material has solidified and the tray is to be jerked loose. The threads are in the form of a non-woven fabric and are bonded to each other at their contact points.

Abstract: An instrument for removing tartar consists of a handle having a working portion with its outer end formed into a blade dimensioned to be moved down along the tooth and below the gum recess. The side and end edges of the blade are rounded-off to obviate damage to the gum. For scraping or planing off tartar or other deposits on the tooth, the end portion of the blade has a through-opening with edges made as cutting edges with a relatively large cutting angle.

Abstract: A suction device such as a dental aspirator comprises a plastic tube (10) with a plurality of suction orifices (21). In accordance with the invention, at least one portion of the tube is provided with ridges and intermediate grooves (20). A plurality of small suction orifices (21) are made at least at the bottoms of the grooves, these orifices lying protected against clogging by the mucous membrane in the patient's oral cavity. The ridges and grooves comprise bellows-like folds with sides (16, 17) of different extension, so that the narrower sides (16) can be snapped in under the wide sides (17) when compressing the bellows-like portion.

Abstract: Deodorizing and disinfecting liquid-absorbing product, such as a sanitary napkin, a compress or a diaper, comprising a liquid absorbing material and inside the product at a distance from its outer edges a substance, which gives off oxygen in contact with moisture. A liquid-absorbing product into which can be inserted an insert such as a deodorizing strip or powder which gives off oxygen when in contact with moisture, which product is divided into essentially identical essentially rectangular or square pad-formed parts joined together by a thin flexible joint in such a manner that the parts can be placed on top of one another by folding the joint and then forming the product in the form in which it is to be used.

Abstract: A tooth cleaning device comprises a biting bit of an elastically yieldable cellular material and has a slit or groove obtained by means of cutting tools, so that the opposing walls of the slit or groove will act as scrubbing means when a person is chewing with his teeth in the slit or groove.
