  • Publication number: 20060037219
Abstract: A rotatable connector pin assembly is disposed within an opening in an adapter nose, with opposite ends of the pin portion of the assembly extending outwardly beyond opposite sides of the adapter nose in axially fixed orientations relative thereto, and is used to captively and releasably retain a replaceable excavating tooth point on the nose. The configuration of the opposite pin ends permits the overall pin assembly to remain in the adapter nose during removal of the point and replacement thereof, with the pin being rotatable between a first orientation in which its ends permit removal of a point from the nose, or installation of a point on the nose, and a second orientation in which the opposite pin ends block removal of the point from the adapter nose.

  • Patent number: 6379261
Abstract: A golf swing training and muscle exercising apparatus or swing trainer is provided which is designed to be used indoors as well as outdoors. The golf swing trainer includes a double bent shaft having upper and lower end portions separated by a center portion, the center portion being interconnected, at opposite ends thereof, with each of the upper and lower end portions by first and second joining portions. The upper and lower end portions are substantially straight and have respective center lines, wherein the center line for the upper end portion is the first center line, the center line for the center portion is the second center line and the center line for the lower end portion is the third center line, the first center line lying at an angle A to the second center line an the second center line lying at an angle B to the third center line. The first center line, second center line and third center line preferably lie in the same plane and angle B is preferably greater than angle A.

  • Patent number: 5774951
Abstract: A clamping apparatus for adjustably clamping a flexible skirt to a conveyor belt skirt plate comprises a locking member adapted to be driven along a stationary cam member in the form of a pin to exert a force on a clamp plate that has one side abutting the flexible skirt and forcing the skirt against the conveyor belt skirt plate. The locking member has a closed, elongated slot to retain the locking member on the cam pin. The locking member may be pivoted outwardly on the pin to project normal to the clamping plate, which has an aligned bore allowing removal of the clamp plate for installation of a flexible skirt. The cam pin is carried on a clamping body that has a narrow waist that is slidably mounted between a pair of opposed retaining flanges on the channel to adjust the position of the clamping plate relative to the conveyor skirt plate.
