  • Publication number: 20070241238
Abstract: A hanger is described for hanging an object from a generally vertical support rod. In one embodiment, the hanger comprises a hanger body, at least two hooks on the hanger body for receiving the support rod, and a gap between the at least two hooks for receiving a nut threaded on the support rod when the support rod is received in the at least two hooks. In another embodiment, the hanger comprises a hanger body, a first set of one or more hooks on the hanger body for receiving the support rod, and a second set of one or more hooks on the hanger body for receiving a portion of the object. In another embodiment, the hanger comprises a hanger body, a first set of one or more hooks on the hanger body defining a first hook-defined recess, and a second set of one or more hooks on the hanger body defining a second hook-defined recess. The first and second hook-defined recesses have different transverse dimensions for receiving support rods having respective first and second different diameters.

  • Publication number: 20050207097
Abstract: A socket assembly for mounting an electric meter. The assembly includes a neutral-ground connector subassembly comprising a base having opposing legs and a bottom defining a saddle for supporting at least one neutral conductor of a power line system, and a connector of electrically conductive material slidable on the base. A first screw is threaded through a first screw opening in the connector to a position in which the screw contacts a neutral conductor laid between the legs of the base. A second screw is threaded through a second screw opening in the connector to a position in which the screw contacts a socket assembly ground conductor.

  • Patent number: 6547192
Abstract: A junction for the joinder of convergent cable trays. The junction comprises a panel for interconnection of the trays, and at least one cable guide extending up from an upper face of the panel having a curved surface for guiding cable as it is pulled around from one tray to another. The curvature of the surface is such as to enable the bending of the cable as it is pulled around the curved surface while preserving the integrity of the cable. The junction includes several different features. In one feature, the cable guide is removably fastened on the panel.
