  • Publication number: 20240016295
Abstract: A stowaway compact rocker having a set-up condition and a collapsed condition comprises a stationary chair frame base; a movable chair frame seating assembly adapted for rocking movement relative to the stationary chair frame base; and a rocker mechanism operatively connected between the stationary chair frame base and the movable chair frame seating assembly. The stationary chair frame base comprises a lower transverse support member, a pair of leg mounts disposed thereon, front leg tubes, and rear legs tubes, each leg tube being adapted for connection to a leg mount. The movable chair frame seating assembly comprises an upper transverse support member, a pair of seat tube mounts disposed thereon, seat member tubes, each being adapted for connection to a respective one of the seat tube mounts, and back-rest member tubes, each being adapted for connection to a respective one of the seat tube mounts.

  • Publication number: 20230399869
Abstract: A portable and collapsible canopy structure, capable of being set-up and locked in a set-up condition, and likewise unlocked and collapsed from the set-up condition to a collapsed condition for transportation and storage, comprises a lever system allowing for single-user operation for set-up and break-down, wherein the user remains outside the unit, preferably at a single corner of the canopy frame. Further, the lever system provides means for locking the frame in the set-up condition for safe use, and likewise unlocking the frame for collapsing the canopy structure for transport and storage. More particularly, a lever member engages with a rib linkage associated with one corner of the frame to extend said rib linkage to an extended condition, the extension of which coordinates simultaneous extension of the other rib linkages, as well as extension of horizontal supports connected between the corners of the canopy frame.

  • Patent number: 11317722
Abstract: A collapsible and portable reclining chair includes a leg assembly, a seat assembly defining a seat support and a back support, and an independently movable leg rest support. Such a chair can be folded and unfolded between a set-up condition of the chair for use, and a collapsed and folded condition of the chair for transport and/or storage. In use, the seat assembly can be shifted between an upright position and a reclined position where the back support angularly pivots backwards. In use, the leg rest support can be pivotally shifted from a lowered position to an upright position relative to the seating assembly—operating similar to a conventional LA-Z-BOY recliner using a handle disposed on a side of the chair frame that is moved by the user to effectuate movement of the leg rest support independent of any reclining adjustment of the seat assembly.
