  • Patent number: 11346373
Abstract: A pressure accumulator includes an accumulator housing having first and second ports for receiving first and second pressure mediums, respectively, a movable separating element subdividing an interior of the accumulator housing into at least first and second working spaces, the first working space accommodating the first pressure medium and the second working space accommodating the second pressure medium, wherein the first port is in fluid communication with the first working space and the second port in fluid communication with the second working space. At least one sensor is operatively coupled to the first working space for measuring at least one characteristic of the first working space, and a gas generator is operative to generate a gas from ambient air, the gas generator including an outlet for outputting the generated gas, the outlet in fluid communication with the first port.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 10, 2018
Date of Patent: May 31, 2022
    Assignee: Parker-Hannifin Corporation
Inventors: Edward Berkel, Rafael Alberto Toledo, William Mark Mosher, Bruce Besch, Kevin Koenigs, David Connaughton

  • Patent number: 10844975
Abstract: A fitting assembly includes a fitting and a tube. The fitting has a fitting body having a straight through hole and an attachment or base port, connected to the through hole by a first passageway generally perpendicular to the through hole. The tube has an outer diameter smaller than the through hole allowing a first end of the tube to pass through the through hole. A seal is positioned in one of a circumferential slot in the tube and a circumferential slot in the through hole of the fitting body, the seal sealing a second end of the tube to the fitting body. A cover is sealingly attached to the first end of the through hole. One of the cover and the tube has a portion that extends into an intersection of the through hole and the first passageway, the portion having an aperture that prevents blockage between the attachment or base port and the second end of the through hole.
