    Abstract: A pre-chamber spark plug that includes a base portion, an electrode positioned within the base portion, and an end cap defining an end portion of the spark plug. The end cap is releasably connected to the base portion of the spark plug. A method of making a pre-chamber spark plug is also disclosed. The method includes providing a base portion having a wall with a first connecting mechanism formed thereon, providing an electrode positioned within and supported by the base portion, providing an end cap having a top portion and a flanged portion. The flanged portion has a second connecting mechanism formed thereon, and connects the end cap to the base portion. The first connecting mechanism is configured to cooperate with the second connecting mechanism to releasably connect the end cap and the base portion together.
