    Abstract: safety-off-switch interconnecting via electrical wire between residential smoke detectors and a residential air moving blower motor. Smoke or toxic gas detection unit upon sensing, transmits a signal indicative of an alarm condition to safety-off-switch. Safety-off-switch upon receiving alarm condition signal will disconnect electrical power to blower motor of residential air moving unit. When safety-off-switch no longer receives an alarm condition signal, blower motor will again be allowed to run.
