  • Publication number: 20090114295
Abstract: A gas-panel manifold for use in a gas-panel assembly is disclosed. A manifold in the assembly provides a plurality of support surfaces, each designed for supporting a gas-component thereon, and internal passageways disposed within the manifold body for connecting gas components, with such carried on the manifold, for gas flow through the manifold in a generally downstream direction. The adjacent support surfaces in the manifold are in different planes, representing different heights above the support.

  • Publication number: 20090078324
Abstract: The invention involves the introduction of a gas-flow restrictor and reservoir upstream of a mass flow controller (MFC) in a gas-panel stick. The restrictor and reservoir components function to smooth out pressure spikes in the gas line, thus preventing gas-flow irregularities that can occur in an MFC or pressure-insensitive MFC. The restrictor and reservoir components can be integrated into the MFC.

  • Patent number: 7213618
Abstract: A fluid manifold and components for constructing the fluid manifold having a plurality of separate fluid-flow pathways are disclosed. The manifold includes a plurality of pipe modules which form the fluid-flow pathways and a plurality of block modules which can be placed together in various configurations with the pipe modules to form the fluid manifold. The pipe modules have terminal collars or flanges by which they are supported within the block modules, and the block module construction allows modules to be removed and replaced without removal of adjacent block or pipe modules.

  • Patent number: 6142164
Abstract: One aspect of the present invention provides an apparatus which permits the efficient purging of leaked process gas at the component-panel interface in an integrated gas panel system. The apparatus provides conduit structure for directing a flow of purging gas through a surface interface whereat a gas-manifold panel meets gas-manifold components. A further aspect of the invention provides a method for efficiently purging process gas which might leak out at the component-panel interface in an integrated gas panel system. The method includes the step of simultaneously directing a stream of purging gas along a pathway extending over the surface interface and along a pathway which intersects and passes through the surface interface.
