    Abstract: A method for treating pain using laser therapy in pulse mode is provided. The method comprises a laser receiving a power setting in Watts, the laser receiving a setting of cycles in Hz, and the laser administering a laser treatment of 810 nm wavelength of duration T-on between 1 us and 9us. The method also comprises the laser calculating a T-off, a time off between pulses of the laser treatment and the laser implementing the T-off. Selections of duration between 1 us-9us are dependent at least on selection of power (Watts) (100W-250W). Selected durations between 1us-9us are directed to reducing thermal effect on a patient subjected to the laser treatments. Selection of duration between 1 us-9us facilitates steady or static placement of a laser providing the treatment dosage over an area of a pathology.

    Abstract: A medical laser for use in medical healing applications is provided. The medical laser comprises a hand piece having a main body containing an optical sub-assembly for delivering a dose of radiation. The hand piece also has a hand-held grip angularly disposed from said main body, wherein said handheld grip has a vertical centerline that is approximately perpendicular to a horizontal centerline of the main body. The medical laser also comprises a high-powered class IV laser generator source in optical communication with said optical sub-assembly via a fiber optic cable. The medical laser also comprises a docking station separate from and not connected to the laser generator, the docking station providing two shaped profiles accommodating two shaped profiles of the handheld grip.

    Abstract: A method for treating pain using laser therapy is provided. In continuous wave mode, the method comprises a laser receiving a power setting and administering treatments of 810 nm, 910 nm, 1064 nm wavelengths, each of 50 us duration, and each followed by a 5 microsecond pause. When the laser is alternatively configured in pulse mode, the laser repeats, after a computer-generated pause, the first, second, and third laser treatments. In pulse mode, an emission frequency (Hz) determines a beat or rhythm of a pulse mode being used a frequency of pulse is set via provider selection entered via touch screen on the laser with preset times.
