Abstract: A commnication system patch panel is the subject matter of the present disclosure. The present patch panel provides a convenient device for selectively connecting a wire from one plurality of wires to a selected wire of another plurality of wires. The patch panel includes a front side having an access opening on its front side. The patch panel includes a mounting plate which is adapted for being mounted on a vertical surface. A plurality of connector blocks is mounted on one side of the mounting plate. A portion of the connector blocks is adapted to be connected to wires which are connected to a communication network. Each of the connector blocks of the remainder of the connector blocks is adapted to be connected to wires which are connected to terminals. Each of the blocks adapted to be connected to a wire connected to a communication network is connected to a respective network jack. The network jacks are mounted on one side of the mounting plate at the front of the patch panel.
