  • Patent number: 5302039
Abstract: An improved panel coupler has a hub assembly which releaseably and adjustably holds two or more panel clamps for coupling together two or more adjoining panels. The panel clamps have keeper ends which are captured and adjustable within a keeper channel in the hub assembly such that the panel clamps are infinitely adjustable about the hub assembly, and distal clamping ends which, in turn, are adjustable for clamping onto panels having different thicknesses.

  • Patent number: 4638698
Abstract: A drop feed mitering machine includes a work table positioned in a near vertical orientation, a cutting throat running perpendicularly through the machine and a drop feed guide mounted in the region of the cutting throat for guiding a length of molding stock over the cutting throat in a simple gravity assisted drop feed operation. A cutter block is actuated from the front of the machine to sever the molding section positioned over the cutting throat and a front removable scrap bin is provided for removing scraps produced by the cutter block during mitering operations. A feed stop positioned below the feed guide is adjusted to determine the length of the molding piece to be cut. The drop feed machine of the invention can be operated in a confined space because the horizontal feed operations and the horizontally extending feed structures of conventional mitering machines are eliminated.

  • Patent number: 4520891
Abstract: The frame of the vehicle includes a forward section which provides a mounting for the front wheel and motor, a rear section for mounting the rear wheel, and an intermediate section extending between and connecting the other two sections. The intermediate frame section is elongated and lower than the front and rear frame sections so that the rider sits lower in the vehicle and with improved link angles, particularly at the hip and knee of the rider. A support module, mounted at the top of the rear frame section, is movable betweeen a forward position in which it provides upper back support for the rider, and a rear position in which it provides lower back support for a passenger. The seat for the passenger is located at the top of the rear frame section so that his head is well above the head of the rider when the vehicle is in use.

  • Patent number: 4423573
Abstract: A wall panel includes a peripheral metal frame which may be free-standing or part of an open office partition system, and a removable acoustical insert. The acoustical insert is formed of pressed glass fiber and includes an integral border of substantially greater density than the main body portion of the insert to add rigidity to the insert and provide a stiffened portion for mounting clips which are used to removably secure the acoustical insert to the peripheral metal frame so that the border is in register with the frame.

  • Patent number: 4325531
Abstract: The apparatus includes a plate which is secured to the bottom of the container and includes depending feet which are received into keyhole slots on front and rear mounting brackets separately secured to the carrier rack. When the container is lowered onto the mounting brackets and slid rearwardly, reduced neck portions on the feet of the bottom plate are received in narrowed portions of the keyhole slots; and a latch engages a pin on the bottom plate so that the container cannot be removed until the latch is disengaged.
