Abstract: A self-supporting tube can support an associated medical or dental device, such as an extra-oral aerosol suction device. The self-supporting tube can be configured as a high-volume evacuator tube for a dental chair system. The self-supporting tube can include a first end that connects to an HVE port of a vacuum collection cannister directly or through a U-shaped tubular fitting and/or the first end of the self-supporting tube can connect to an inlet of a high-volume evacuator valve, and the self-supporting tube can include an opposite second end that connects to the associated aerosol suction device. The self-supporting tube can include at least one lumen that fluidically connects the first and second ends. The self-supporting tube can further include a manually operated inline valve. The self-supporting tube can be disposable and can be formed into a desired shape. When connected to an HVE valve, the self-supporting tube can include an anti-rotational device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that include providing a filter assembly having a filter housing and a filter medium disposed within and/or carried by the filter housing. The filter medium is configured to be exposed to an external environment and collect, filter, or otherwise remove aerosols (which may be contaminated with bacteria, viruses, or a combination thereof) from the external environment when coupled to an evacuation component, such as a dental high vacuum evacuation (HVE) line.

Abstract: A holding apparatus for holding relatively small items comprised of a generally flexible planar base, attachment means for attaching the base to a vertical surface such as a refrigerator door or the like, at least one storage and/or display compartment, and at least one fastener for releasably attaching the compartments to the base. The holding and/or display apparatus allows a user to detach and carry along the detachable compartment to a desired destination. In addition, the apparatus may be utilized for organizing and/or visibly displaying relatively light weight and thin materials such as appointment cards, theatrical tickets, photographs, sketches, etc. without puncturing or affecting the integrity of the material.
