  • Publication number: 20220394863
Abstract: An electrical unit housing may include a housing member, a cover, and a connector. The cover may be releasably connectable to the housing member in an assembly direction. The connector may include a latch and a tab. The latch may be disposed on the cover and the tab may be disposed on the housing member. The tab may include a first surface, a second surface, and a third surface that may extend obliquely or perpendicularly relative to each other. The second surface may extend from and connect the first surface to the third surface. The latch may be biased toward contact with the tab. The second surface may be configured to facilitate a sliding movement of the latch toward an engaged position.

  • Publication number: 20190123522
Abstract: An electrical unit includes a first housing member, a second housing member, and a fuse assembly. The fuse assembly may include a pre-fuse bus bar disposed at least partially in the first housing member. The first housing member may be configured to receive a first electrical connector. A plane may extend through the pre-fuse bus bar and the first electrical connector. The fuse assembly may include a fuse, and the plane may extend through the pre-fuse bus bar, the first electrical connector, and/or the fuse. The first housing member may be configured to receive a second electrical connector.

  • Patent number: 9325111
Abstract: An electrical junction box has a connector retainer assembly with a first contact surface, as well as a connector housing assembly with a pivotal lever arm. The lever arm has a first engagement surface. The connector retainer assembly and the connector housing assembly configured so that when the lever arm is moved in a single direction relative to the connector housing assembly, the first engagement surface engages the first contact surface and the connector housing assembly moves relative to the connector retainer assembly from a pre-staged position to an assembled position.

  • Patent number: 7256363
Abstract: A switch actuator assembly is provided comprising a circuit board housing including an upper housing and a lower housing forming a board compartment. A circuit board assembly, mounted within the board compartment, includes a switch element. A button assembly, positioned remotely from the upper housing, includes a cantilever button element. A plunger array assembly is included comprising a plunger array frame and a plunger element. The plunger element comprises a main plunger piston having a first plunger end configured to engage the cantilever button element only in a radial direction and a second plunger end configured to transfer force to the switch element. A plunger cantilever arm has a first cantilever end affixed to the plunger array frame and a second cantilever end affixed to the main plunger piston and is mounted in a mount position configured to minimize horizontal displacement of said second plunger end.
