  • Patent number: 12255441
Abstract: A mechanism for a circuit breaker to rack in and out of a cabinet enclosure has a long, threaded screw rod on the circuit breaker captured into a stationary nut at the back of the cabinet. Racking inwardly is limited by the selective release of the nut when the maximum extent of racking in is reached. When a cross beam of the circuit breaker reaches its predetermined limit, further racking in is prevented as, at that point, the nut is no longer held in place. Racking out of the circuit breaker from the cabinet is still allowed, if desired. Non-rotative square rods and rotative round rods, along with paddles of the rotative round rods interact with protrusions on the outside of the nut to ensure racking in, racking out, preventing cross threading and limiting the racking in, all as desired.

  • Publication number: 20250060411
Abstract: A device for protecting, controlling, and monitoring electrical medium range switchgear or other electrical devices comprising use of a Rogowski coil embedded in the bottle of a switchgear and surrounding the Mains flow of current carrying voltage, a capacitive or similar voltage-like divider, also surrounding the Mains and extending around the bottle, and providing analog signals from those devices to an integrated circuit for conversion to digital signals after possible adjustment by look up tables stored on the integrated circuit, and then transmitting as output the digital signals to a data accumulator where the same are optionally time stamped and compared to one another, to a standard or to themselves at a different time.

  • Patent number: 11799273
Abstract: A system and apparatus for maintaining the desired synchronous and asynchronous A and B auxiliary electrical circuits, respectively, by use of connector block halves, one connector block half being connected to wiring out for auxiliary circuitry and being secured to the movable circuit breaker and the other auxiliary connector block half also being connecting to wiring out for auxiliary circuitry and secured to the relatively stationary wall or surface of the cubicle, where the connector block halves have some portion of its contacts of the “make before break” type so that the A and B auxiliary circuits operate as intended when the connector halves are connected and the A and B auxiliary circuits still reflect the proper condition, synchronous or asynchronous, of the A and B circuits, respectively, even when the auxiliary connector block halves are physically and/or electrically separated from one another.

  • Patent number: 11444439
Abstract: A racked in and out circuit breaker for a cubical housing of electrical switchgear has a back to front, threaded rod mechanism and, at the rear of the cubical a stationary and interior threaded bolt is provided so that when the rod is turned the circuit breaker is mechanically pulled into the cubical and, if turned oppositely, causes the circuit breaker to move out of the cubical housing. A non-threaded section of the rod cooperates with the same bolt so that when it is within the threads of the bolt, further effort at rotating the rod prevents further rearward movement of the circuit breaker.

  • Patent number: 10583511
Abstract: An end product and system for connecting large aluminum tubular pipe segments into an Isolated Phase Bus comprising reducing the diameter (or increasing the same) of one end of a tubular segment and sliding it into (or over) the untreated end of an adjacent pipe or tubular segment, followed by a tubular and circumferential welding of the same. The outside or inside circumference of the connected segments are uniform from distal to proximal end of the overall length of the connected tubular segments. A structural integral, axially aligned, simplified set of connectable tubular segments allows for a grounded connection between power generators and step transformers. Preferably, the overall diameter change of the necked down flange (or outwardly flared flange) of one tubular segment is less than or only slightly greater than twice the material wall thickness of the tubular segment's initial pre-rolled flat aluminum sheet material.

A structural integral, axially aligned, simplified process is provided with superior end results, intended to allow grounded connection between power generators and step transformers. Preferably, the overall diameter change of the necked down flange (or outwardly flared flange) of one tubular segment is only slightly greater than twice the material wall thickness of the tubular segment's initial pre-rolled flat sheet material.
