  • Publication number: 20250050009
Abstract: A cap configured to be removably coupled with a receptacle for performing negative pressure wound therapy for a patient. The cap comprises a base section configured to be fluidly coupled with both a negative pressure source and a wound of the patient. The cap further comprises a coupling section extending from the base section, with the coupling section being configured to engage with a mouth of the receptacle. The cap includes an injection conduit extending beyond the coupling section, such that when the cap is mounted on the receptacle, the injection conduit is configured to be positioned within an interior of the receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20250040944
Abstract: Surgical kits for implanting a femoral fastener in a femoral bone may include the femoral fastener and at least one of: a targeting guide assembly, an anti-rotation assembly, and a plurality of tap tools. The targeting guide assembly may include a targeting guide base having a locating slot and a removal slot that are formed therethrough. The removal slot may extend from an inferior end of the targeting guide base into the locating slot. A guide pin may be placed through the locating slot and into the neck and head of the femoral bone to guide placement of the femoral fastener therein. The targeting guide base may be movable in a superior direction to release the guide pin inferiorly through the removal slot that extends from the locating slot to the inferior end of the targeting guide base.

  • Publication number: 20240374205
Abstract: Technologies for evaluating a user's musculoskeletal health and prescribing treatment plans for the user based on the musculoskeletal health is provided. The disclosed techniques include a computing system receiving input data from a client device. The system formatting the input data to generate one or more sets of user characteristic data values and determining initial levels of user musculoskeletal health for the user based upon the sets of user characteristic data values. The system selects a set of treatment plans for the user based on the initial levels of user musculoskeletal health. The system presents the set of treatment plans to the user using media that allows the user to interactively perform exercises prescribed in the treatment plan.

  • Publication number: 20230047553
Abstract: A bone disunion instrument system may include a first bone pin, a second bone pin, and a guide block. The guide block may include first and second bone pin holes to receive the first and second bone pins, and a window intermediate the first and second bone pin holes. The first bone pin may be anchored in a first bone portion and inserted through the first bone pin hole, and the second bone pin may be anchored in a second bone portion and inserted through the second bone pin hole to impart a compression or distraction force on a bone disunion between the first and second bone portions. The window formed through the guide block may provide access for an implant placed through the window to stabilize the bone disunion while the bone disunion is placed under a compression or distraction force.

  • Publication number: 20230048409
Abstract: A bone disunion fastener may include a fastener shaft, a helical thread, and a bone staple. The helical thread may include a concave undercut surface oriented towards one end of the fastener shaft. The bone staple may include a first bone-engaging feature, a second bone-engaging feature, and a middle portion with an opening. The bone disunion fastener may be implanted along a disunion between a first bone portion and a second bone portion. The concave undercut surface may be shaped to resist at least one force transmitted between the first bone portion and the second bone portion to stabilize the disunion. The first bone-engaging feature may engage the first bone portion and the second bone-engaging feature may engage the second bone portion to couple the bone staple to the bone portions and resist at least one force transmitted between the bone portions to stabilize the disunion.

  • Patent number: 7911937
Abstract: A communication network architecture comprises an access tier including access packet switches coupled to users, a backbone tier including hub packet switches coupled to one another, and a transit tier including transit packet switches coupling the access tier to the backbone tier. The access packet switches are coupled to the transit tier by physically diverse access communication trunks. The transit packet switches are coupled to the backbone tier by physically diverse transit communication trunks. OSI layer one protection is disabled between the access tier and the transit tier and is disabled between the transit tier and the backbone tier. OSI layer two protection is enabled between the access tier and the transit tier and is enabled between the transit tier and the backbone tier. In some examples, a control system selects protection schemes for selected communication trunks and directs the network elements to implement the selected protection schemes on the selected communication trunks.
