  • Patent number: 12272251
Abstract: An advisory module may include processing circuitry configured to receive data indicative of internal factors and external factors related to route optimization of a combined route of a subject. The combined route may include an air segment and a ground segment, and at least some of the external factors may include dynamic parameters that are changeable while the air segment or ground segment is being transited by the subject to a ground objective. The processing circuitry may be further configured to generate a guidance option to deliver the subject to the ground objective based on integration of the internal factors and the external factors to optimize a route to the ground objective, and provide a graphical representation of the guidance option along with comparative data or context information associated with the route.

  • Patent number: 11985785
Abstract: Traditionally, rail systems for racks that house electronic equipment, such as information handling system only allow motion from one side of the rack, if they allow movement at all. Embodiments presented herein provide mechanisms and methods that allow for motion of information handling systems in a housing from more than just one side of the housing.

  • Patent number: 9015294
Abstract: Information handling system network addresses are managed based on the location of the information handling system. For example, a blade information handling system chassis has network addresses stored in persistent memory and associated with each of plural slots. A blade information handling system inserted in a slot receives network addresses associated with the slot from a chassis management controller. A baseboard management controller of the blade information handling system receives the network addresses and applies the network addresses to power up networking components to communicate over a network with the network addresses, such as MAC addresses or WWN addresses.

  • Patent number: 7970873
Abstract: Information handling system network addresses are managed to support a consistent MAC address for iSCSI and fiber channel host bus adapter. For example, a management controller retrieves a MAC address from persistent memory, such as a network location, and assigns the MAC address to a non-persistent memory of a predetermined information handling system network component so that the MAC address remains consistent even if the network component is replaced. For example, an offload engine that supports network communications with iSCSI receives a MAC address from a network location and applies the MAC address for use by a host bus adapter. Alternatively, an offload engine supports Fiber Channel with World Wide Name or World Wide Identifier address assignments.

  • Patent number: 7795802
Abstract: Optical devices fabricated from solvent processible polymers suffer from susceptibility to solvents and morphological changes. A semiconductive polymer capable of luminescence in an optical device is provided. The polymer comprises a luminescent film-forming solvent processible polymer which contains cross-linking so as to increase its molar mass and to resist solvent dissolution, the cross-linking being such that the polymer retains semiconductive and luminescent properties.
