    Abstract: This invention relates to bottom opening utility wagons in general and more specifically to a gravity dump wagon having a unique hydraulically actuated bottom opening arrangement wherein the closure members translate away from the hopper body in the horizontal plane to reduce the vertical clearance required between the bottom of the hopper and the ground, to effect unobstructed dumping of the wagon contents, the wagon further having a forward axle pivotal in two perpendicular planes.
