  • Patent number: 7904924
Abstract: Techniques for generating meaningful video-on-demand recommendations based on television viewing history data are described. Television viewing history data and video-on-demand purchase data are gathered from multiple client devices within a network. Television programs and videos-on-demand that are watched and purchased, respectively, using the same client device are associated with each other. Weights are assigned to the associations based on percentages or statistical analysis of the number of client devices through which particular videos-on-demand are purchased and television programs are watched. When a viewer requests video-on-demand recommendations, such recommendations are automatically generated based on comparisons between television viewing history data associated with the viewer and the television program/video-on-demand associations.

  • Patent number: 7506355
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods to track end-user content viewing and navigation in a distributed computing environment are described. In one aspect, a document for communication to a data warehouse is generated during transcoding of Web content. The document includes characteristics of Web content interface pages and links. The characteristics identify the links within scope of respective ones of the interface pages. Identifiers (IDs) in the document map the characteristics to specific ones of the interface pages and links. Transcoded source content representing the Web content is communicated to a client. Responsive to end-user presentation and navigation of the transcoded source content, the client records corresponding ones of the IDs to a log for subsequent uploading to the data warehouse. The data warehouse maps particular ones of the characteristics to corresponding log recorded ID(s) to identify specific ones of the interface pages and the links of interest to the end-user.

  • Patent number: 6422049
Abstract: A high security T-handle assembly for supporting a lock cylinder, includes an elongate handle having a passageway therethrough for key access to the locked cylinder along with a housing for containing the locked cylinder. The housing includes an opening therein for enabling projection of a locking pin exterior to the housing. First screw threads are formed on a circumference of the housing on one end of the housing and second screw threads are formed on the handle into one side thereof for engaging the first screw threads in order to secure the handle to the housing. At least one set screw is disposed in the handle for engaging the housing for preventing the unscrewing of the handle from the housing.

  • Patent number: 6412314
Abstract: A trailer hitch module for engaging a trailer tongue socket includes a base and a ball fixed to the base for engaging a socket cup. A locking arm is provided and pivotally attached to the base so that it is movable in a plane parallel to the base between a close position engaging a protruding lip of the socket in order to prevent removal of the socket from the ball and an open position away from the lip in order to enable removal of socket from the ball. A lock mechanism is provided for securing the locking arm in the closed position.
