Abstract: A building form system including a plurality of forms for assembling into a wall template that is filled with concrete to create a building wall. The system includes a corner form assembly comprising an inner corner form and an outer corner form for disposition on a corner footing. The outer corner form includes walls angled from a bend. A pair of connectors are disposed on opposite ends from the bend. The inner corner form includes corresponding connectors for attachment to the outer corner form around a preset vertical rebar in the corner footing. The system further includes a base form extending between a first pair of connectors that include a peripheral wall disposed directly therebetween and the second pair of connectors for mating engagement with the first that include an inset wall spaced inwardly therefrom. Spacing between the peripheral and inset wall of adjacent base forms accommodating vertical rebar.

Abstract: There is provided system for distributed live performance scheduled audio recording, cloud-based audio content editing and online content distribution of audio track and associated metadata. The system comprise a content editing server and a plurality of audio recording slave devices and at least one artist client computing device configure to display a content editing interface in communication with the content editing server via the Internet. In use the content editing interface is configurable to receive a live performance schedule such that the server is configured to configure an audio recording slave device with the live performance schedule such that the audio recording slave device records audio data of a live performance and uploads the data to the server.

Abstract: There is provided system for distributed live performance scheduled audio recording, cloud-based audio content editing and online content distribution of audio track and associated metadata. The system comprise a content editing server and a plurality of audio recording slave devices and at least one artist client computing device configure to display a content editing interface in communication with the content editing server via the Internet. In use the content editing interface is configurable to receive a live performance schedule such that the server is configured to configure an audio recording slave device with the live performance schedule such that the audio recording slave device records audio data of a live performance and uploads the data to the server.

Abstract: An ultrasonic welding assembly having an ultrasonic horn and an anvil having first, second, and third plate portions is provided. The third plate portion is coupled between the first and second plate portions. The first plate portion has a first knurled region on a first side disposed proximate to the ultrasonic horn, and the second plate portion has a second knurled region on the first side. The third plate portion has a first aperture extending therethrough. The assembly further includes a bracket that receives the second side of the anvil for holding the anvil thereon. The bracket has a second aperture extending therethrough that aligns with the first aperture, such that a coupling member extending through the first and second apertures removably couples the anvil to the bracket.

Abstract: A modular building unit for use in constructing a building comprises a top, a base, two opposed ends and at least one open side. The at least one open side extends between the two opposed ends and is free of upwardly extending structural supports. The modular building unit is configured to be interconnected to a second modular building unit along the at least one open side. The building unit is dimensioned to enable the building unit to be accommodated at or within a predetermined width limit for transportation before assembly and the building unit and the second modular building unit, when assembled, exceeding the predetermined width limit.

Abstract: A pitching training aid includes a mat, a pitching rubber attached to the mat and indicia displayed on the mat to instruction a baseball player on how to pitch a baseball. The indicia includes the steps of “start,” “rocker,” “pivot/balance” and “step/release.” The indicia also includes a series of arrows which instructs the baseball player on the sequence of the steps. A straight line extends from the pitching rubber down a center of the mat to show where the “step/release” position should be. A top surface of the mat has an artificial grass surface and a bottom surface of the mat includes a nonskid material to prevent the mat from sliding during use. The mat may include two pitching rubbers and two sets of indicia on opposites ends thereof with one pitching rubber and indicia being used to instruct right hand pitchers and the other pitching rubber and indicia being used to instruct left handed pitchers.

Abstract: A method for mapping a data source of an unknown configuration to that of a known configuration, comprising the steps of submitting a request for metadata to the data source of the unknown configuration; generating a relational schema from the known configuration based on the metadata received from the data source of the unknown configuration; and returning the metadata of the generated relational schema which maps the data source of the unknown configuration to the known configuration. In a preferred embodiment data source of the unknown configuration is a multidimensional database and the known configuration is a star or snowflake relational schema.

Abstract: In an electronic device having a processor, a visual display, apparatus for entering data into said device, and an electronic memory, a method for reliably determining whether confidential handwritten or voice data entered into the electronic device for processing has been recognized by the device as representing a character the user intended to enter, comprising the steps of receiving a data entry, translating the entry into digital signals and combining the digital signals to create a character, saving the character in electronic memory, commencing a timing sequence, displaying the character on the visual display, awaiting the expiration of the timing sequence, and replacing the character with a mask character on the visual display and, if the character was incorrect, allowing the user to re-enter the character and, if the character was correct, accepting another character, and, when all characters have been entered, sending the saved characters to the processor for processing.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for informing users that data associated with one or more concurrently-running components has changed. In a preferred embodiment, the system and method comprise a GUI that includes a plurality of tabs associated with independently selectable components. When data associated with a particular component changes, the component's tab is made to flash. The flashing continues until the user selects the component. In a second preferred embodiment, when the tab associated with the component whose data has changed is not currently displayed, a different GUI element is made to flash until the tab is displayed. Further, a user may be informed of the change in data by vibration of the electronic device or by an audible sound.
