  • Publication number: 20210255685
Abstract: A system includes a controller configured to receive a signal indicating whether a droop event has occurred. The system also includes a plurality of delay elements where each delay element of the plurality of delay elements responsive to a signal from the controller receives an input signal and outputs an output signal that is a delayed version of the input signal. At least one delay element of the plurality of delay elements receives a clocking signal as its input signal. The system also includes a selector configured to select rising edges and falling edges of output signals from the plurality of delay elements to form a modified clocking signal. The modified clocking signal is a modified version of the clocking signal.

  • Patent number: 10901018
Abstract: A system includes a plurality of delay elements configured to receive an input clock signal. The system further includes an edge transition detector coupled to the plurality of delay elements. The plurality of delay elements is configured to detect the input clock signal transitioning from one value to another value. The system also includes a circuitry configured to determine a number of delay elements of the plurality of delay elements that the input clock signal propagates through prior to the input clock signal transitioning. The system also includes a logic or controller configured to determine whether a droop event has occurred based on the number of delay elements.

  • Patent number: 5875431
Abstract: This invention is directed to a strategic planning control system, and more particularly to a computer-based, closed-loop legal strategic planning system and method having iterative convergence to an optimal strategy and dynamic tracking of current prevailing legal climates. The system of this invention includes a computer-generated legal strategy for streamlining the legal process by converting it from a traditional task-oriented system to a process-oriented system. By so doing, predetermined objectives and tasks are defined according to a disciplined time schedule, cost targets are defined, and deliverables agreed upon prior to beginning the legal process. A key aspect of the system and method of this invention is a series of computer programs which provide a strategic planning template outlining the objectives and tasks, and their associated timing. The template is case category and case type specific and presents the "best practices" strategic process from which to launch a legal action.

  • Patent number: 5430387
Abstract: A structure for and method of operating a transition-controlled off-chip driver is disclosed. Turn-on of output pulling devices is controlled, while turn-off is uncontrolled. An AC voltage reference circuit dissipating essentially zero DC power provides a reference voltage for control during transition. Turn-on control dissipates during transition, and ends when transition is complete without the use of output feedback.
