  • Patent number: 9467051
Abstract: A switching regulator using current mode control and adaptive slope compensation includes a DC correction circuit to introduce a DC correction signal to cancel the DC offset error generated by the slope compensation signal. In some embodiments, the DC correction signal is a function of the input voltage and the output voltage and is applied in response to the slope compensation signal being applied. In one embodiment, the DC correction signal is a linear function of the input voltage and the output voltage.

  • Publication number: 20120183653
Abstract: Disclosed are packaged frozen precooked dough or batter-based food products and methods of heating the food products. The packaged precooked frozen dough or batter-based food products comprises one or more frozen precooked dough or batter-based food products that are encased in a pouch for heating. The pouch is sealed with the exception of the presence of two or more vent holes that function to release air or steam that may otherwise cause the food product to become soggy when they are heated in an oven.

  • Publication number: 20120003366
Abstract: The present invention provides methods and devices for the preparation and delivery of retention and lubricant agents to ingredients to be pelletized through a forming device such as a pellet mill, extruder or otherwise. Through the features of the present invention, a continuous supply of retention and lubricant agent is prepared and delivered to a forming device, which may be automated based upon calculated or measured need of the retention and lubricant agent. In one embodiment, these and other advantageous features are based upon a unique device configured for automated hydration and delivery of alginate to a forming device based upon one or more conditions of the device, forming device or both.

  • Publication number: 20060061126
Abstract: A windshield for a cycle, such as a motorcycle, bicycle or tricycle, having a dihedral leading surface to provide operator protection of wind, dust, bugs and debris. The windshield further comprises a pair of side panels extending from the dihedral leading surface to provide added stability to the cycle by providing a corrective steering force behind the axis of the cycle's fork to maintain the orientation of the fork into the wind. An attachment means secures the windshield to a cycle without the use of tools and with adequate strength to withstand the rigors of prolonged use. The attachment means preferably includes a break-away feature to allow for one piece break-away of the windshield if subjected to rear impact from a cycle's rider or passenger during a crash. The windshield is free from metal bracketry extending into the operator's field of vision or potential path or trajectory of the operator or passenger in an accident, due to the strength inherent in the windshield's shape and construction.

  • Patent number: 5083940
Abstract: A gel and container means capable of protecting a binding post and drop wire from moisture and corrosion is provided which will effectively prevent the exposure of the drop wire and binding post cap and screw from moisture and corrosive atmospheres without the need for a pressure maintaining means other than the combination of the cap and gel. The pressure of the gel is maintained on the binding post through the extraction of plasticizers from the container means causing a shrinkage.
