  • Publication number: 20240157928
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for reducing a variation of force between a trailer and a towing vehicle and for maintaining the performance of the towing vehicle when the trailer is attached to it. A trailer may be configured to attach to a towing vehicle. The trailer may comprise a load sensor configured to detect a towing force between the trailer and the towing vehicle and to generate a load signal based on the towing force. The trailer may also comprise a control system coupled to the load sensor that includes a power source and a motor coupled to the power source. The motor may be configured to apply a propulsive force to the trailer. The control system may be configured to receive the load signal and to decrease the propulsive force based on the load signal. The increasing or decreasing of the propulsive force may reduce the towing force.

  • Patent number: 10646931
Abstract: A drill attachment for engagement and actuation of a drill apparatus having a bifurcated frame defining a first shaft and a second shaft operatively engaged to the drill apparatus at first and second engagement points is disclosed. A handle is pivotally engaged to the first shaft and is operatively coupled to a trigger actuator located along the first shaft through a trigger cable operatively engaged to a trigger actuator the distal end of the first shat that permits remote actuation of the drill apparatus. The trigger actuator includes a pivotable rocking arm having an actuator pad in selective engagement with the drill trigger such that actuation of the handle by the user pivots the rocking arm in a manner that causes the actuator pad to engage or disengage the drill trigger when operating the drill apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20080077508
Abstract: An electronic marketplace system provides various features for assisting users in listing products for sale, locating the listings for a product, and performing related actions. A user wishing to sell a product can browse to an existing description of the product in an electronic catalog and then select an option to create a corresponding listing. The pending listings for a product are preferably displayed or summarized on the product's detail page in the catalog. When no such listings exist, an option to preorder the product from an unspecified seller may be provided, and information regarding the resulting preorders may be displayed on the associated product detail pages to entice potential sellers. In one embodiment, the electronic catalog also serves as a retail sales catalog of a merchant.

  • Publication number: 20070277277
Abstract: A low profile, flush resistant, through shoulder entry system for a wetsuit is disclosed. In one disclosed embodiment, the wetsuit has a stretchable entryway formed through a head-opening portion with a head flap pivotally secured to the body of the wetsuit. The head flap pivots to define an open position whereby a user can easily enter and exit the wetsuit through the stretchable entryway, and a closed position. At least one gusset extends between the wetsuit and head flap. In another embodiment, the head flap is detachably secured in its closed position with a combination of a horizontally mounted slide fastener and hook and loop material.

  • Patent number: 7114233
Abstract: A device for facilitating the separation and removal of an engine cover from a sealing surface on an engine. The engine cover puller may reduce or eliminate the deformation of an engine cover during its removal and allows for its potential reuse. In addition, the engine cover puller may reduce or eliminate the damage to the sealing surfaces between the engine cover and the engine that may occur during an engine cover removal.

  • Patent number: 6230226
Abstract: A system and apparatus combining a hub and a function as a single chip compound device. A single serial interface engine (SIE) is shared between a hub endpoint and a function endpoint. The hub endpoint and function endpoint being integrated on a single chip. A single backend interface is coupled between the SIE and the endpoints. The backend interface selects which of the hub endpoints or the function endpoints can access the shared SIE at any time period. In one embodiment, a first address is associated with the hub and a second address is associated with the function. The backend interface selects between the hub and function by comparing a translated address received from the SIE with each of the first address and the second address. The result of the comparisons via suitable combinational logic serves as a select signal for a multiplexer between the hub/function and the SIE.

  • Patent number: 5987617
Abstract: An apparatus and method of reducing power consumption in an integrated device having a first module with a mandatory operating frequency and a second module with a flexible frequency requirement. The integrated device is powered by a serial bus. The first module is segregated from the second module in the time domain by a frequency independent interface. The second module is then operated at a lower frequency when power conservation is needed. The operating frequency of the second module can be dynamically changed to improve performance of the second module when a power budget for the device permits.
