  • Publication number: 20040170611
Abstract: The invention features methods of promoting hair growth in a subject. The methods include inducing or mimicking the effects of Wnt promoted signal transduction, e.g., by increasing the level of Wnt protein or administering an agent which mimics an effect of Wnt promoted signal transduction, e.g., by administering lithium chloride. Methods of inhibiting hair growth are also provided.

  • Patent number: 6759201
Abstract: The invention provides Daedalos polypeptides, nucleic acids encoding Daedalos polypeptides, and methods of using Daedalos polypeptides and nucleic acids. Also included in the invention are methods of diagnosis, methods of treatment, methods of detection, and methods of controlling neural cell differentiation by detecting and/or modulating expression of Daedalos in a cell.

  • Publication number: 20040051290
Abstract: A hauling system for improved transportation of a motorized personal vehicle such as a motorized cart most often used by persons who have a difficult time walking. The hauling system provides a gravity-tilting platform attached to a trailer hitch that allows a single user to load and transport the motorized cart. The user can actuate the cart and drive it up onto, or off of, the platform. When the cart is driven off of the platform it tilts to the ground and provides a ramp. When the cart is driven onto the platform it tilts off the ground to a lockable horizontal position for transport.

  • Publication number: 20020020405
Abstract: A portable gas cooking grill apparatus comprising a grill having a hood and a firebox. It is preferable that the hood can be received by and seated upon the firebox, thereby enclosing the grill. A burner assembly, capable of heating the interior portion of the grill, is preferably disposed underneath a substantially solid cooking surface and within the grill, thereby fully enclosing the burner assembly. The grill is supported by a frame, arranged and configured to substantially correspond to the firebox and releasably receive the grill thereon. The frame includes a leg assembly extending therefrom. The leg assembly is fixed to the frame such that the leg assembly is movable between a retracted position and an extended position.
