  • Patent number: 8504249
Abstract: A work vehicle includes a mechanical front wheel drive (MFWD) and a controller unit for automatically controlling the MFWD based at least on a MFWD request signal, a speed ratio request signal, and a brake-status signal. The MFWD request is overridden if the speed ratio request is for a predetermined speed ratio (such as fourth gear), and the overriding of the MFWD request is interrupted if the brake-status signal indicates that a brake of the work vehicle is applied.

  • Patent number: 7666116
Abstract: Method and differential-lock control apparatus for differential lock control are disclosed. A control unit is arranged for communication with an engine speed sensor, a differential-lock activation control, and a differential lock. The control unit is adapted to allow for reduction of an engine speed to a desired engine speed if the engine speed is at least a threshold engine speed in response to receipt of an activate-differential-lock request signal, and adapted to subsequently output an activate-differential-lock control signal to the differential lock so as to command activation of the differential lock.

  • Publication number: 20080131252
Abstract: A work machine includes a machine frame, a loader and an electronic level indicator. The loader includes a loader frame coupled with the machine frame, a pair of booms pivotally carried by the loader frame, and a bucket pivotally carried at a forward end of the booms. An electronic level indicator includes a first indicator providing an indication of a relative angular orientation between the loader frame and at least one boom. A second indicator provides an indication of a relative angular orientation between the bucket and at least one boom. A controller is coupled with the first indicator, the second indicator and a visual indicator. The controller receives an input signal from each of the first indicator and the second indicator and actuates the visual indicator to indicate when the bucket is level.
