  • Publication number: 20200019535
Abstract: A method of processing or modifying individual data files for transmission over a data network, the method executed by a processor of an electronic device. The method includes retrieving, receiving, or accessing the individual data files to be transmitted, and processing the individual data files to determine the size of each individual data file. The individual data file sizes are then compared to a predetermined or calculated optimal data file size for transmission to identify non-optimally sized data files.

  • Publication number: 20200012449
Abstract: A method of receiving data segments of a data file on a user electronic device from a remote data source or sources over a data network. The data file being requested by or being pushed to an intended recipient application program executing on the user electronic device. The method includes receiving incoming data segments from the remote device over the data network and maintaining a memory buffer in memory of the user electronic device comprising one or more memory blocks. A status indicator for each memory block in the memory buffer is maintained that is indicative of the status of the memory block and the incoming data segments are allocated to specific memory blocks for storage in the memory buffer based at least partly on their respective status indicator. The stored data segments from the memory buffer are then provided to the recipient application program on the user electronic device for use or playback for example.

  • Publication number: 20200014399
Abstract: A method of transforming a data file, the method executed by a processor. The method includes segmenting the data file into data segments and creating a bit index for each data segment having a size that is based on a configurable or preset data group unit. The method then involves indexing each data segment into its corresponding bit index by reading all data group unit values within the data segment and updating the bit index based on the read values, and generating an output data file or files comprising the bit indexes that represent the original data file.

  • Publication number: 20190222679
Abstract: In one form the invention provides a method of modifying a data file for transmission over a data network. The method comprises the steps of receiving the original data file and creating a header file, the header file including the length in bytes of the original data file. At least one repetition byte sequence is identified within the original data file, the repetition byte sequence comprising a byte value that is repeated consecutively within the repetition byte sequence. A modified data file is created by replacing the repetition byte sequence with a repetition marker, the repeated byte value, and a repeat frequency value representing the number of times the repeated byte value occurs within the repetition byte sequence. The repetition marker is added to the header file. The invention further provides a method of transmitting a data file to a remote device over a data network.

  • Publication number: 20190114602
Abstract: A system of providing a receiver of payments access to a plurality of payment sources, is described that includes a configuration tool listing a plurality of payment sources available to the receiver of payments and configured to allow the receiver to select one or more disparate payment sources from which it will accept payments. The system then provides a payment interface for the receiver of payments displayable to customers of the receiver. A payment transaction database stores data related to financial transactions carried out on behalf of the receiver of payments. The system also includes a payment hub that provides an interface between the receiver of payments and the selected payment sources.

  • Patent number: 9637420
Abstract: Increasing longevity of the nitrogen content of soil through improved liquid delivery formulations of urease inhibitors and/or nitrification inhibitors designed to apply to fertilizers, especially urea and manure based fertilizers These delivery formulations provide an environmentally sound and inherently safe solvating system that improves the storage stability of the urease inhibitors by utilizing aprotic solvents, maintain the urease inhibitors and/or nitrification inhibitors in solution to storage temperatures of at least 10° C. and provides improved application to fertilizer of urease and/or nitrification inhibitors. These delivery formulations enable safe storage, transport and subsequent application or blending with urea based or manure based fertilizers that can be applied to soil in either a liquid or granular form to provide improved nitrogen retention in the soil for uptake for plant life.
