  • Publication number: 20200098469
Abstract: A system and method for dispatching a nurse for administering medications includes visits that are either scheduled or unscheduled. Scheduled visits occur on a regular basis and are assigned to a particular nurse, while unscheduled visits are assigned to an available nurse based upon, for example, the location of that nurse with respect to that of the patient. Upon completion of administering the medication, the nurse provides data (e.g. feedback) of the visit, including an indication of any medication that was not taken and why. In some embodiments, if any medication was not taken, information regarding such is forwarded to the physician that prescribed that medication for remedial action.

  • Publication number: 20190392933
Abstract: A system for presenting alternative therapy information to a patient and/or the patient's caregivers (e.g. loved ones, medical staff, etc.) includes a medication manager that keeps track of medications that need to be taken and the time at which the medication is to be taken. Both the patient and caregiver(s) are informed of what needs to be taken and when. After the patient acknowledges taking the medication, the caregivers are also notified. The alternative therapy is presented in such a way as to not disclose any confidential medical information regarding the patient so as to not violate any government rules or laws related to the release of patient information (e.g. complies with HIPPA). Therefore, the alternative therapy is provided in a “blind format,” in that, the advertiser does not know the identity of the patient or caregiver that is receiving/viewing the advertisements.

  • Publication number: 20170213191
Abstract: A system for managing a mobile workforce includes tools for directing and tracking the progress of mobile caregivers while providing tools and information to managers of the mobile caregivers as well as information on arrival, departure, and location to advocates of patients. When the caregiver arrives at the patient's home, a message is sent informing an advocate indicating arrival and, during the time the caregiver is with the patient, the advocate is able to determine the location of the caregiver's device (e.g., on a map application) and, in some embodiments, access video and/or audio of interactions with the patient. The location is particularly useful when the patent care includes transportation of the patient. Mechanisms are provided to determine possible substitute caregivers should something happen to a caregiver that is assigned to an appointment with a patient (e.g., flat tire).

  • Patent number: 4697724
Abstract: A glove tree formed of a resilient material. The device includes a display stand means suitable for displaying a glove carried by the tree. The respective distal ends of the fingers and thumb of the glove tree or glove form are enlarged with respect to their respective proximal portions in order to save materials since the distal portions accomplish the spreading of the glove's fingers and thumb sections. Both the distal and proximal sections of the tree's fingers and thumb are semicircular in transverse section. Moreover, the palm portion of the form is solid but formed of the same resilient material as the fingers and thumb so that it may be squeezed as it is inserted into a glove and subsequently released to spread and fill the palm portion of a glove.
