  • Patent number: 7553049
Abstract: A support arrangement is combined with a reflector sheet and fluorescent light tube to hold the reflector sheet above the tube in a curved trough shape maximum concentration of light at a desired distance from the light tube by varying the curvature in which the reflector sheet is held. An annular piece is detachable to form a larger opening to be fit to a larger tube, while an auxiliary strip can be mounted across the opening to create an opening for a smaller sized opening. The reflector sheet can be held in a reverse bent along its center to avoid light by the tube itself. Two clips can be mounted together at an adjustable distance from each other to allow mounting of a double sized reflector sheet over two side by side light tubes.

  • Patent number: 7018074
Abstract: A reflector mounting for fluorescent light fixtures in which a rectangular reflector sheet is formed and held in a trough shape by a series of bracket clips hooked to side edges thereof, the bracket clips having a hole receiving the light tube to thereby hold the reflector in the light fixture.

  • Patent number: 5921667
Abstract: A lightweight reflector is fabricated from corrugated plastic sheet by bonding a mirrored film on a cover layer having a great number of closely spaced lengthwise depressions so that a corresponding series of striations form a reflector surface having a multitude of facets, the sheet to be formed into a concavely curved shape which shape may be held with a wire secured crosswise to the sheet at a point intermediate the ends. In the preferred embodiment, single faced corrugated plastic sheeting is used which can readily be shaped in a curved shape.

  • Patent number: 5616042
Abstract: An adapter is disclosed for connecting a pair of wire leads to the pin contacts of a fluorescent light fixture socket in which a central pin is located between two pins each connected to a wire lead, the central pin engaging the socket to lock the adapter to the socket with the pins rotated into the socket. A wire lead cap is also provided for an auxiliary socket mounting the light tube in a relocated position, the cap having pins received in the wire lead socket terminals, the cap enclosing the wire leads to avoid a shock hazard.

  • Patent number: 5368495
Abstract: A method and adapter allows relocation of fluorescent light tubes to be offset from existing light fixture sockets, an adapter installed in each of a pair of opposite fixture sockets and having a plug connected at the ends of a pair of electrical leads able to receive the relocated fluorescent tube pins and establish a power connection to the tube in the offset location. Each adapter also has a transverse extension rod and tube holding clip element mounted thereto to provide a support for a respective end of the relocated tube.
