  • Patent number: 10973217
Abstract: Insect capture is improved by providing a glue board having an adhesive coating on its front surface and forming a pattern of insect attractant UV light on that front surface. That pattern includes areas of bright UV light generated by light-emitting diodes that generate light at different wavelengths behind and visible through the glue board by flying insects, dimmer areas of light generated by said light emitting diodes that bounces off other portions of the device onto the glue board, and areas of shadow on the glue board where no or little light from said light-emitting diodes is present.

  • Publication number: 20170086448
Abstract: An insect trap which includes an enclosure with a removable cover member having at least one opening therethrough and contained within the enclosure is an insect attractant, a take-up roller, a supply roller, each journaled for rotation about parallel, spaced-apart axes, and where a flexible web is wound on the supply roller and transferrable onto the take-up roller. The web has an adhesive on one major surface. Also contained within the enclosure is an electric motor connected in driving relation to the take-up roller and a timer circuit for controlling the ON/OFF state of the electric motor. The timer circuit is designed such that when switched to the “on” state, remains on only long enough to transfer a quantity of the web in a range of plus or minus 10% of the predetermined length dimension between the two rollers before assuming the “off” state.

  • Publication number: 20160088828
Abstract: A humane repeating animal trap having multiple points of entry and redundant mechanisms which prevent an animal reaching the storage section of the trap from escaping. The trap permits selective viewing of the contents without opening the trap and indicators signaling not only the presence of animals within the trap, but also which of multiple points of entry were used by the animals to enter the trap.
