Abstract: Examples described herein relate to preparing datasets in a storage device for machine learning (ML) applications. Examples include maintaining ML facet mappings between ML facets and dataset preparation tags, deriving ML facets of a dataset stored in the storage device, and generating filtered datasets from the datasets using the ML facets and ML facet mappings. The filtered dataset is associated with improved dataset quality compared to unfiltered dataset. The storage device transmits the filtered dataset to ML applications requesting the dataset. Some examples include recommending, by the storage device, ML facets to the ML application based on performance metrics.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to synchronizing configuration dataset information from independent cluster groups. In an example, an aggregator selects nodes to each represent a different respective cluster group of a plurality of independent cluster groups. The aggregator establishes a respective server-sent event channel with each of the nodes. The aggregator receives, from a node, transaction log information representing changes to a configuration database associated with the independent cluster group represented by the node. The aggregator plays back the received transaction log information, which is in the form of database statements, into a centralized configuration database cache.

The animated performance dashboard animates changes in performance status of one or more objects at a plurality of points within a time range by changing a first color overlay of one or more performance indicators identifying a first performance status of one or more objects at a first point in time to a second color overlay identifying a second performance status of the one or more objects at a second point in time within the time range.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed that generally involve handling logins for a user accessing a plurality of computer resources. In one embodiment, once a user enters login information for a first computer resource, the login information can be stored and/or re-used to access a plurality of other computer resources without the user having to re-enter the login information for each resource. The methods and systems can involve a software framework in communication with various plugins, each plugin including one or more login candidates representing a type of a computer resource. The plugins and/or login candidates can allow the framework to pluggably and dynamically recognize and log into various types of computer resources.

A storage system management device is displays an environment management interface that dynamically changes based upon a user's need to manage either the first or second storage system. For example the storage system management device provides a default environment management interface for the first data storage system that includes a custom management display that allows the user to access the management functionalities associated with the first data storage system. The storage system management device dynamically changes the content of the environment management interface to provide a custom management display associated with the user selection of a second data storage system.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to a method for discovering a network address translation (NAT) network connection with a data storage system. The method includes establishing, by a client device, a network connection with the data storage system via a target network address associated with the data storage system, retrieving over the network connection, by the client device, a set of private network addresses associated with a set of storage processors of the data storage system, comparing, by the client device, each private network address of the set of private network addresses associated with the set of storage processors with the target network address, and when the target network address is absent from the set of private network addresses associated with the set of storage processors as a result of the comparison, detecting, the network connection as being configured as a NAT mode network connection with the data storage system.
