    Abstract: A stud welding device comprises a receiver and a T-shaped transverse passage through which a T-stud may pass to an axial bore of the receiver and into the path of a plunger which carries the stud into a welding position. A fulcrum is provided in the axial bore about which the T-stud can pivot or rotate to a deflected position that avoids jamming.
