Abstract: The present invention relates to knives and related implements, and, more particularly, to methods and apparatus for attaching a handle to a tang of a knife. One aspect of the invention is for attaching a handle to a tang of a knife by removably coupling an insert having a threaded bore onto a portion of the tang, the insert being adapted to couple with a coupler, the coupler comprising a threaded rod and an expanded head, such as, but not limited to, a bolt. The engagement of the insert and the coupler pulls together the tang and the handle in removably coupling engagement.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a connector and a system. The connector 100 includes a housing 105 having a first and a second end portion 110, 115, and a contact having a first and a second end portion. The connector further comprises a printed circuit board interface 120 and a second interface 125. The printed circuit board interface 120 is located adjacent the first end portion 110 of the housing 105, the printed circuit board interface 120 adapted to receive the first end portion of the contact. The second interface 125 is located adjacent the second end portion 115 of the housing 105 and adapted to mate with a plug connector 610, the second interface 125 having a second contact adapted to receive the second end portion 115 of the contact. Abstract: An electrical connector (1) constructed with, an insulating insert (3) mounted to a connector housing (4), the insert (3) having a mating face (10) at a front of the housing (4), at least one electrical contact (2) in a contact receiving cavity through the insert (3), the contact (2) having a pin (6) and a receptacle (5), and the contact (2) being adapted for mounting in the insert (3) to provide the receptacle (5) at the mating face (10), and the contact (2) being adapted for mounting in the insert (3) to provide the pin (6) at the mating face (10).
