  • Patent number: 10842323
Abstract: Various embodiments relate to a manual centrifuge food processing device. An example device includes a bowl and a spindle extending from an inner surface of the bowl. A mesh basket is removably coupled to the bowl and is structured to receive a food product. The mesh basket defines a hub structured to receive the spindle so as to facilitate rotation of the mesh basket relative to the bowl about the spindle. A lid is removably coupled to the bowl. The lid includes a drive mechanism structured to rotate the mesh basket in response to a manual input so as to drive liquid from the food product due to centrifugal force. Each of the bowl and the mesh basket is formed of metal.

  • Patent number: 10570607
Abstract: A method of erecting an acoustic shell for stage performances, the shell have frame defining a concave volume that is curved in two orthogonal planes and has an inner surface facing forwardly of a stage for a performance. A plurality of polygonal acoustic panels are positioned in the frame and spaced in rows and column along the inner surface, each panel having an outer acoustically active surface. The frame is formed of plural curved trusses each with a base for support on the stage and a peak. An oculus ring is connected to the peak of each arch and the bases of the arches are space along a bottom curve of the concave volume. The panels comprise plural adjacent blocks in rows and columns, each with a base and inner closed end, the length of each block being different for adjacent blocks.

  • Patent number: 6545665
Abstract: A computer pointing device consists of a adjustable hand support shape and adjustable controls that work together to conform to an individuals natural grip. This allows multiple individual users to shape the device body for their maximum comfort using a squeezing action. A targeted ergonomic configuration allows a user to configure the angle of the hand in the most natural way to minimize twist and strain on the wrist. The adjustable structure and button assembly are attached to a flat bottomed base that rests on an underlying flat surface. Attached to the base are the electronic and the mechanical component necessary to provide the required positional and event outputs to a computer.

  • Patent number: 6312206
Abstract: A method and apparatus for loading bulk materials is disclosed. The apparatus of the present invention comprises a track and a frame movable on the track between a retracted and extended position. A first plate is movably mounted on the frame, and a ram is operably connected to the first plate for moving it between a retracted and extended position. A feeder may also secured to the frame. In operating a press such as the one disclosed, the frame and plate are moved within the container, a compressible material is transferred into the container, the compressible material is compressed, and the frame and plate are moved to a position outside the container. The steps of transferring compressible material into the container and compressing it may be repeated as desired. The frame may also be equipped with a second plate in which case one plate may be compressing material while additional compressible material is simultaneously being transferred into another portion of the container.
