  • Patent number: 12014243
Abstract: A shareable, wearable training system including a first cuff configured to be worn on an upper arm and/or torso of a user, the first cuff including a first housing defining a first slot and a radio-frequency identification (RFID) transponder sized to fit within the first slot, a second cuff configured to be worn on a lower arm of the user, the second cuff comprising a second housing defining a second slot, and an interchangeable computer system sized to fit within the second slot. The computer system includes a RFID reader and instructions causing the computer system to determine and record whether the RFID transponder is within a threshold distance of the RFID reader and provides the user with a notification when the RFID transponder is within the threshold distance, thereby notifying the user when a distance between a hand of the user and a face of the user is less than the threshold distance.

  • Patent number: 7331445
Abstract: According to a first aspect of the invention there is provided a conveyor system that includes a rotatably-mounted drum and a conveyor belt that is movable along a path that includes a helical portion around the drum. During movement of the conveyor belt, a surface of the drum frictionally engages an inside edge of the conveyor belt along the helical portion of the path. Finally, a peripheral surface of a rotating driving element directly engages the drum and to rotate the drum thereby operatively to move the conveyor belt along the path.

  • Publication number: 20070288355
Abstract: Evaluating risk associated with a financial organization's customer by prompting a user to respond to a set of questions adapted to solicit customer data relevant to evaluating the risk. The questions are part of a first risk model that includes rules for determining an overall risk rating associated with the customer based on user responses to the questions. Risks associated with individual responses from the user are quantified based on the first risk model. A first overall risk rating for the customer is determined based on the quantified risks.

  • Patent number: 3937465
Abstract: A training device for assisting a trainee in stroking a tennis racquet in such manner that the head of the tennis racquet does not shift in a vertical plane below the wrist of the trainee and, as such, always remains above the wrist of the trainee in such vertical plane. This training device comprises a harness which is secured to the body of the trainee and a cord which extends from the harness to the racquet. The opposite end of this cord is removably attached to the racquet at a point which is intermediate the head portion and the handle of the racquet. In this way, the trainee will always maintain his wrist below the head of the racquet and, in addition, the cord is adjustably sized so that it may be used to limit the forward and backward swing of the racquet in any stroking thereof by the trainee.
