Abstract: Embodiments of the current invention describe an approach for configuring a platform resource table. The platform resource table is configured using information from both the platform management system and the platform resource provider system. The platform resource table is then communicated to the platform resource provider system via a platform interface to select and invoke platform state transitions to improve power efficiency.

Abstract: A power source selection approach of one embodiment includes a voltage monitor to monitor a system supply voltage and to assert a droop signal if the system supply voltage droops below a threshold voltage. A power source selector is responsive to assertion of the droop signal to configure at least one power source, such as, for example, a battery pack, to attempt to provide sufficient voltage such that a system supply voltage is raised above the threshold voltage.

Abstract: A method, circuit, and system for providing a power good signal for a voltage regulator are described. The voltages of the two input pins to an error amplifier within a voltage regulator may be compared to determine if the error amplifier is operating in the linear range. If it is determined the error amp is operating in the linear range, then the voltage regulator is operating properly, and the power good signal may be set to a high level.

Abstract: A power system includes an input power port, a power rail, a battery unit, and a system charger voltage regulator (VR). The system charger VR couples the input power port to the battery unit. The battery unit couples with the system charger VR and the power rail.

Abstract: A battery pack includes a switching control port, a battery stack, an output power port, and switch circuitry. The switching control port receives a switch control signal from a battery pack port. The switch circuitry selectively couples the battery stack to the output power port based at least in part on the switch control signal.

The wax free coating forms a pin-hole free continuous film on the substrate which is resistant to water and water vapor. The invention also includes processes for making and recycling the invented coated paper stocks.
