Abstract: A household appliance configured to communicate with a second household appliance, a network of household appliances that can communication with each other, and method of controlling an operation of a primary function unit of a first household appliance based on one of a priority scheme and synchronized duty cycles of the first household appliance and the second household appliance, wherein the first household appliance is configured to communicate with the second household appliance. The household appliance includes a primary function unit, a controller that controls an operation of the primary function unit, a two-way communication module that transmits and receives signals between the controller and the second household appliance.

Abstract: A household gas appliance includes a gas supply valve which is operated using a magnetic key. The gas supply valve itself may be magnetically operable. In this instance, when a magnetic key is placed adjacent the magnetically operable gas supply valve, the gas supply valve would open. When the magnetic key is removed, the gas supply valve would close. In other embodiments, a magnetic sensor may sense the presence or absence of a magnetic key. If the magnetic key is present, the magnetic sensor would generate an opening signal which causes the gas supply valve to open. When the magnetic key is removed, the magnetic sensor would generate a closing signal which causes the gas supply valve to close.

The first window pane defines a lower portion arranged adjacent to a body of the golf car. A message holder is disposed on the lower portion of the first window pane. The message holder according to one embodiment is integrally formed with the first window pane and is adapted to removably accept a message therein. The message holder according to another embodiment is fixedly coupled to the first window pane.
