    Abstract: A rotisserie drive for a grill includes a support for supporting a first end of a spit and a drive transmission including a drive socket for rotatably driving a second end of a spit. The drive transmission is driven by a driving element, such as a motor. The drive transmission comprises a first gear which drives a second gear via a chain. The second gear drives the drive socket. The support may comprise a pair of rollers located at an interior of a first end of a housing of the grill. The drive transmission is located at the exterior of an opposing second end of the housing. The socket is accessible from the interior of the second end of the housing. The drive transmission is preferably located in an interior space at the exterior of the second end of the housing.

    Abstract: A cooking oven is configured for use with a separate heat source such as a gas grill having one or more burners. The oven includes a housing defining an interior cooking area. A grill engaging element extends from the housing for supporting the housing on the grill over the heat source. The grill engaging element defines a passage leading to an opening in a bottom of the housing, permitting heated air to flow from the heat source into the interior of the oven. The oven has a door providing access to the interior cooking area, as well as a vent leading from a top of the housing. The cooking oven is configured to be located over burners of the grill for cooking food items.

    Abstract: A warming tray for use with a barbeque grill comprises a substantially planar support having a rear edge defined by an upturned lip. The lip extends upwardly and forward towards a front edge of the support. The tray may include a number of apertures. The warming tray is configured to be located in the housing of a barbeque grill above one or more burner units for warming food items. The lip prevents food items from falling off of the rear of the warming tray into the barbeque.

    Abstract: A grill unit comprises a support structure comprising a plurality of connected individual modular units, at least one of which supports a cooking grill. Each modular unit comprises a frame, at least a portion of which is covered. The frames of the modular units include corresponding elements configured to be connected with fasteners, the support structure comprising a plurality of modular units connected in side-by-side relationship. Other embodiments of the invention comprise a method of constructing the modular units using a jig. The invention also comprises a plurality of grill components, including an improved handle, burner, burner lid, warming tray and rotisserie.
