    Abstract: An improved electrically driven stirrer assembly affixed to a commercial cooking pot supported in a portable manner on a cooking range. The stirrer assembly has a stirrer motor affixed to the cover of the pot. The stirrer motor has a separate stirrer motor speed controlled positioned at least twelve inches away from the sides of the cooking pot so that the controller will not be damaged by the heat under the cooking pot. The assembly is particularly useful for restaurant or institutional cooking operations.
