Abstract: Dermatological compositions containing a humectant, e.g., at least one of urea, ammonium lactate, and glycerin, and an emollient, e.g., at least one of Shea or cocoa butter, glycine soja sterol and hybrid sunflower oil. The compositions of the invention may be utilized for treatment or amelioration of skin disorders or adverse physiological conditions, and such compositions may be employed as a base for cosmetic or pharmaceutical formulations for dermal administration.
